Their greed knows no limits.

GTA+ Members can also take advantage of special GTA+ Shark Cards that provide extra bonus cash from the PlayStation Store on the PS5 or Microsoft Store.

Reads: "please give us money so you can give us even more money".

Get f*cked Cockstar.

Paying money to be able to spend extra money on shark card bonuses. Unlocking liveries that have been in the game since ages and getting early access to stuff. Absolute joke of a subscription.

Sad thing is, people will eat it up and this is just gonna get worse over time.

I hope you can just cheat and buy the upgraded Deveste from another player as it's parked in the car meet

That would be hilarious

fallout 1st anyone?

this is rockstar trying to see how far they can push - and of course the usual suspects will defend them "no one is forcing you to pay" and all

if this doesn't generate enough backlash, gta online will be a truly pay to win game before long

500k a month is hilarious. Cayo for obvious reasons plus we were getting 1 million a month via PS Plus.

Just yesterday I made a joke about a subscription based GTA Online/V bundle. Not exactly this but I'm having a laugh right now.
My idea was: You pay 10 bucks, you get GTA V and GTA Online, +5M in Shark Cards per month. Well, turns out it's 6 bucks, you only get GTAO benefits and... 500K per month?

I was this close... :fartkek:

Whatever I guess, honestly. PC won't have it, I wouldn't subscribe even if it did have it. Whatever this is, who cares, just don't buy into it if you think it's a waste. Otherwise, do it, it's your money, have fun. I could see the appeal.

Holysh*t tho, subscription GTAO... :kekw:. I should make jokes more often.

GTAO deserves all the cheaters it gets and, at this point, I just hope the situation gets even worse.

This is going to piss a lot of people off haha.

$6.000.000 a year in GTA Online for $71,88 a year

A $8.000.000 Shark Card costs $74,99

Let's say you pay $5,99 every month for a full year, with all the benefits you get, it's a great deal in my opinion

Shark Cards are a sh*t deal in the first place. Just because one thing is less sh*t, doesn't mean it isn't suddenly sh*t anymore.

Mind if I play devil's advocate?

Preface: I think this is a mediocre deal, but can see the value in it for the casual consumer.

I was making a comparison for people who play GTA Online as their main game and often spend money on Shark Cards only. I bet that the majority who will enter this subscription will do it for the money. Now they get $500,000 a month + all the benefits it has. I genuinely do think it's great for the average GTA Online player

Maybe at a stretch I can see value in a month or two's subscription for someone new to the game, but for anybody who has played for a while this is a joke of an offer. Value is absolute sh*t.

Here's why I am afraid of, what if they start making good bonuses exclusive to GTA+ Plus members only?

not sure liveries and (slightly) early access to content is the value proposition they think it is

Lmao, and I bet in the future that DLCs will be GTA+ timed exclusives or just exclusives in general. Embarrassing.
