Nico
I'm opening a topic because this is starting to get on my nerves. I completed Vice City 1.0 on PC recently and decided to start adding some mods. I'm only adding stuff that enhances the game without losing the original atmosphere, or small improvements inspired by more recent games. But now I'm running into an issue that I can't seem to fix myself. I get a random crash every time after playing for a few minutes. This happens regardless of anything, it happens after certain time playing (few minutes). When playing through the story I only had a handful of mods installed and zero issues, but after I finished 100% I decided to start adding stuff like crazy. Perhaps some mods might be incompatible with others. I will try to list them all below: SilentPatch WidescreenFix SkyGFX 2DFX GinputVC Fastman92's Limit Adjuster VBDEC with PS2 radio files Ped Speech (makes dialogue from Tommy and pedestrians more frequent) Mouse Wheel Radio Changer (enables scrolling radio stations in both directions) Classic Axis (changes the camera to behave like in San Andreas) The Leftovers Fix (via ModLoader) AI Enhanced Textures V3 (via ModLoader) Fix Anims Beta (via ModLoader) Updated SCM (via ModLoader) I'm sure I made a huge mess that must be the cause of the crashes. Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky? Nico
I took out a few CLEOs that I had installed and I think it's less prone to crash now, but I'm still not 100% sure. Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?
