Weird Question

So I play on pc and my character is on PS4. Im thinking of asking my buddy with a PS5 to let me transfer my character to next-gen. If later down the road I get my own PS5, would it even let me play with my own character or would my character be stuck on my buddy’s PS5?

Your character will be connected to the account only, not the console itself; so if he logs in with your playstation account to transfer, then you're free to use it later when you get a PS5.

I usually order boneless pizza
