What businesses pay the most passive income?

I mean without doing a thing. Just go after a time period to pick up money from the safe.

 

Personally, my character has reached the 100,000,000 milestone I set for her semi-retirement phase (bought a Super yacht to celebrate...Thanks El Rubio). I own a Kosakta, Agency and an Auto Shop. I want to do more non grindy things like explore, race, hiking, treasure hunts etc. but would like to set up some more businesses that will still give me passive income in the background. I'm not looking to recoup property purchases, sell cargo or get filthy rich. I just want to have as much passive income working in the background as possible while I focus on doing things just for fun. Any tips?

Nightclub is the best Passive Business imo. You literally don't have to do anything, no resupply missions or anything like that but you do have to own other business to make money with nightclub. There is also nightclub earnings which depends how much you get paid on your nightclub popularity. If it is at its highest you will get paid 50k every in-game day(only available on PS5/Series X/S). You can promote your nightclub to keep the popularity up.

You don't have to own the other businesses to make money at nightclub, only if you want to make NC as passive as possible. Without the other businesses, you could still make money but then you would have to do Business Battles to build stock at the warehouse.

Besides Nightlclub, there is only Agency (20K) after doing 201 security missions, and having a fully equipped Arcade (5K), both gets transfered into safes you can just pick up every few days. You really don't have to do anything anymore for Agency and Arcade, after you did the 201 missions. So in combination with the Nightclub if at full popularity it's 75K each day. Well on Nextgen, on PC and Oldgen you only get 35K each day then.

 

I hope we PC and Oldgen players get the 10 to 50K buff for Nightclubs soon too.

Its just a shame that the Terrorbyte cannot buy Supplies, if it could, we could have a completely hands-off business approach. Just spawn it, buy Supplies for the Bunker, Biker etc and then carry on. I would pay good money to upgrade the Terrorbyte to use the Master Control Terminal from the Arcade.

Agency after 201 Security Contracts. $20k/48 minutes. Recover Valuables is the quickest.

 

For the arcade you only need to buy the cheapest cabinet and place it everywhere to get $5k/48 mins.

Nightclub (with the top 5 businesses) is the best most passive business. Most efficient time to do a sale is once every 20 hours, but you can get away with once a day. You'll make around $750k and the sale missions are all easy and under 10 minutes long. I don't bother with the popularity missions. Instead, I use the safe total as my timer to know when to do a sale. When the safe has $2,700 it's time to sell.

 

@SummerFreeze is right about the Agency and Arcade for truly passive income. Once they are set up you just need to take money from the safe. There are no sale missions. Agency safe fills to $250k in about 10 hours and the Arcade safe fills to $100k in 14 hours. 

 

The next best is the Bunker and it's not that great for passive anymore. A single bar of supplies turns into product in about 2.5 hours. If you're playing solo then it's a perfect time to sell when you go to the bunker to buy more supplies because it'll always be a single sale vehicle. The far sale earns $210k, but it costs $75k to buy supplies, so your profit is only $135k. It was a lot better when there was a trick to buy a full bar of supplies for only $15k, but R* patched that trick. The drug businesses are worse than the Bunker, even after the next gen improvements.

The nightclub is amazing now with 50k per 48 minutes on current gen consoles. Just have to make sure your popularity is high, but the missions are easy and you can even just change the DJ for 10k to get a bit of a popularity boost.

Thanks for the tips. I already did well over 201 contract missions and enjoying the Agency safe pickups. That agency got me spoiled. Passive money plus calling Franklin to get a quick $85,000 and do a Recover Property mission compared to waiting a day for 5 and 35k? I know every bit counts but those payouts are too low. Unless they give us PC users the same upgrades as next gen, I'll pass on the arcade and nightclub unless I get in the mood to actually set up some sale missions. I guess I'll just keep having fun then pay El Rubio a visit when I feel the need to get some extra cash or see something I want him to buy me.

If you're a solo player then I'd probably recommend skipping the Arcade unless you want the arcade games. The Casino heist can't be done solo. At least it should be easier for you to set up a "private" public session on PC for the Nightclub sales.
