Where do I find E&E on the Microsoft Store?

Hello, folks.

 

Apologies for the dumber than dumb question, but where do I find Expanded & Enhanced on the Microsoft Store?
It's absolutely baffling.

I have a new Xbox Series S, which arrived today, have update the system and controller and have installed GTA V.
On the Microsoft store it said the game is about 83 GB, but after install it is the normal 95 GB and the same-old GTA 5/online game.

I have searched and searched and there is NOT GTA E&E anywhere! I live in Brazil.

 

It's the same on my old XBox One: there is no E&E for pre-purchase either.

 

What on earth am I missing here? Baffled.

Perhaps because E&E isn’t what it’s called. 
 

If you see GTAV, it is the version for your console. 
 

I could be wrong though.

Just look up Grand theft Auto and look for the one that has different art for the icon. It took me awhile to find it on the web site.

Look for GTA Online, it have a different coverart.

 

Both the online only version & the full version for Series X/S are now called GTA Online. Once you click on that you'll see the option for either version.

 

 

If you can't find it in the Xbox store, go to xbox.com on your phone or PC & find it there. You can buy the game from your phone and choose to download it on your Xbox directly.

I found it in the NEW GAMES section on the XBox store, clearly marked with it's new cover and X|S labeling.
You have the option to buy the full game with single player, or standalone GTA online at half the price.

 

You can search until you're blue in face for the game on the XBox store, but it does not show any results. I even installed GTA V standard again, thinking it would redirect me afterwards to the E&E version.

I can't believe that a new version of GTA online is only available in the New Games section and not by searching. That is some cocked up marketing if you ask me!
Anyone else had this problem? I even changed my country region to check if the MS store was blocking in Brazil.

 

Also, try going to xbox.com and searching for GTA and tell me what you find?
NO expanded & enhanced anywhere, absolutamente NADA! Rockstar need to have a serious word with Microsoft, I would say.

It's not expanded and enhanced anymore. R* stopped calling it that very recently because they knew it wouldn't go over well calling this remaster EnE.

It doesn't matter what it's called. It's not available via search in the Microsoft store or on xbox.com. Try searching for something super generic like GTA on xbox.com and see if you can find it (today)? It doesn't exist, like Rockstar are almost embarrassingly hiding it. You have to search through new games until you eventually find it on the Xbox Store.

The store seems like a bit of a pain in the ass to navigate. I think it's because Xbox seems to separate every version into different listings? PS5 has them all under one app.

 

I had to find GTA Online standalone first, which then led me to find the GTAV bundle and it's only differentiated by the new gold outline.

The listings on Xbox seem to be kind of a mess for some reason, I've noticed that people on Discord who have their Xbox connected to rich presence show that they're playing "Grand Theft Auto Online".

I'd say it's Microsoft tucking it away because you couldn't miss it on PS5.

That's definitely on Microsoft, I had trouble finding the new Cities Skylines DLCs back in January.

 

Anyway, they've fixed it now. don't-call-it-E&E now shows up at the bottom of the page when you search for GTA.

I had no issue finding it.
Store > Search > Type in: gran (by that time it was already displayed)
