AStiffBreeze
So obviously the 5 new vehicles can all be given the HSW upgrade: *Weaponized Ignus *Astron Custom *Cyclone II *S95 *Arbiter GT Then I heard that there would be 5 existing vehicles that could get the HSW upgrade. But I can only find 4 of them: *Banshee *Sentinel XS *Turismo Classic *Hakuchou Drag Does anyone know what the final vehicle is? I heard it was the Brioso, but neither the Brioso R/A nor the Brioso 300 give me the upgrade option. Edited March 15 by AStiffBreeze

symphonight
Brioso and Deveste Eight (they are in the thumbnail for the HSW's race in game.) Probably dripfeed. AStiffBreeze and fast4Christ
fast4Christ
I’ve seen and asked the question myself. The Principe Deveste Eight and Brioso both will either be dripfed or possibly be an unlock according to what I have found out.
TheLordMarvel
Wait, can we upgrade the remaining vehicles now?!

I commented and asked how he did that but no reply yet.
Insoluble Fiber
does anyoe think if deveste gets hsw upgrades, it will become the fastest car in the game?

Pedinhuh
7 hours ago, Insoluble Fiber said: does anyoe think if deveste gets hsw upgrades, it will become the fastest car in the game? It already has one of the highest top speed of the Supers class and has the highest top speed within the Supers META(Emerus, Krieger, S80RR, Ignus and Deveste Eight), throwing the HSW on it will surely make it top tier of sheer top speed and will compensate for its terrible understeering handling on corners. It will pretty much blow the doors off the Krieger, the S80RR and the Emerus everywhere and only the W.Ignus will have any hopes of competing with it. I hope that R* is paying attention and will make more old Supers eligible for the HSW upgrades. The fact that the Sentinel XS, a 2013 OG vehicle, has been given said privilege leads me to believe that will add more old cars to the list. I want to see the Adder becoming a top dog again, believe it or not. Arrows to Athens, Hazzardtohimself, Insoluble Fiber and 1 other 3

Being serious, I think Rockstar would be missing a trick if they didn't end up adding nearly every 'old' vehicle to HSW in time. Even with the ridiculous pricing, folks would still pay for that extra performance - which is potential fish-cards for their T2 gods. So far Hao's customisation for pre-existing vehicles has added increased performance, a slightly lower suspension option, the two nonsense liveries, a pair of bench-spoilers, and a badge. That's no new cosmetics to stand the vehicle apart from its original options, which means no excessive effort on behalf of the development team - just some stat tweaks and livery mapping as required. It would be easy money, and it would let Rockstar show off new speed on new platforms. (glossing over the potential for land-vehicles to easily outpace air-vehicles, of course)

The majority of unarmed helicopters will feel too slow now and pointless to use if the Hakuchou Drag can just clock 200mph down the LS highway(and it can), so they will a bump in their top speeds and acceleration at the very least. And then there's the boats...But I think everyone here agrees that boats in GTA were always more of a novelty. Hazzardtohimself
fast4Christ
I definitely think that an HSW speed and acceleration upgrade for the Principe Deveste Eight and a Truffade Nero would bring in a lot of money for R* as well as make a lot of us happy. Also given that we get these two vehicles with HSW no more worries about the Oppresser mk2 griefers.

Dr.Rosenthal
Ok so I’ve upgraded a few vehicles to Hao’s version but I feel like most of them drive great before modding and then afterwards they turn to absolute sh*t. Faster maybe, but completely uncontrollable. Examples I’ve tried would be Coil Cyclone II (which forgets how to steer after upgrading, basically it turns into a drag racer meant for straights, at least in my experience). Arbiter GT gets faster too, I think, but it also turns to a princess on ice with zero traction. Part of me feels like maybe it’s me who is doing something wrong when driving, or the mods require fine tuning and test driving to reach good results instead of just maxing out the upgrades. I usually max out upgrades except suspension (mostly I like to use street suspension but it also very much depends on the car). Can anybody clue me in as to how I should treat these upgrades, or which cars turn out better/worse after upgrading? I don’t want to waste more money making my cars sh*ttier but of course, if there’s a ”suped up” version of a car, I’m going to want to get it. Please help.
