Hey, I just traded in 0120 Murrieta Heights (150k garage) which offered me 1.1 million in a trade in for 2045 North Conker. Got a stilt house and made 380k. PS5 version

 

was looking to trade in the Greenwich garage but the trade in price was 60k vs 1.1 million…will prob trade in Greenwich for 0120 again. Will let u guys know if the million dollar trade in happens again

That sounds strangely like a recent property swap glitch where the game was applying the trade in value of the office garages to the 7th and 8th property slots when you traded in one of said properties. A lot of people who did that got a money wipe from it so I'd be a bit wary of doing that repeatedly.

And because it's a hit scan shooter, players with higher frame rates are going to have their hits register sooner than those with lower. 
Plus, how would previous gen players be shown content that they don't have access to? Like the new cars? What happens when you roll up in a Series X car, how would that be displayed to an XB1 if they can't even download the car? 

It's a lot more complicated than greed. 

Don't try to rationalize with the irrational. They just think money collected should go to developing the next game. They have no clue how complicated things can get for a big company like Take Two Interactive. They are doing a lot more than just developing GTA games.

I had that happen to me once as well with the exact same garage on PC. After that one trade-in where I netted extra 1 mln for no reason everything went back to normal, the glitch wouldn't reappear anymore. That was like a year ago or even longer than that, nothing happened to my account since.

Well, because it's now a standard feature in the industry. Fortnite was one of the first titles to support, then over the years more and more titles have been supporting it. It's a shame I still can't play with my Xbox Series buds on PS5. Rockstar has the Social Club to occupy cross-play and I still don't feel like they're using the Social Club at their full advantage. Fortnite has built an entire platform based around cross-play to allow for party chat, with ways to interact with your friends, like the Social Club. I don't understand how Rockstar who has so much money won't implement it. I am glad people are finally criticizing Rockstar, it needs to be a thing already across their online games. It's been far too long already at this point.

So, I decided to just start over online - it's been kind of rough, but interesting as well.

I know what stuff not to buy and what add-ons are really needed,

Started as a MC president with a coke room, and started making deliveries.

Need a couple million for my sub and I'm good to go.

 

Also, been playing on Fidelity and it seems fine since I have always played at 30FPS anyway and now the graphics are just screaming at me.

I was going to start a thread for this, but I don't think it's much of a discussion, but here is a quick tip, which I just learned the hard way while upgrading the new HSW cars. If you are planning on upgrading to all the HSW parts, make sure to buy the initial HSW upgrade first. For some reason, when bringing my new Turismo Classic to Hao's, I upgraded first with all the other mods, then did the HSW last. Because I did it this way, I then had to go through all the other performance mods and lol pay for them again. Well, not again, but for things like the transmission, suspension, engine, Turbo, etc., when you purchase that first HSW upgrade, for almost a cool $1 mill, you open up another level for the other performance mods. So I basically paid twice for them. No biggie, because I have so much money in this game, but I wanted to warn you guys about it just in case. If you're struggling for cash in GTAO, and end up getting tagged for an extra $250K for a car because you upgraded in the wrong order, like I just did, it could hurt.

The significance this has is almost unmeasurable. Rockstar has something up their sleeve with this one. First they develop the anti boost flag, then they fix suspension height according to speed, now fps doesnt affect physics anymore. I am betting the next GTA will still use the same engine, so the dev team is making all sorts of improvements to their current inventory to literally extinct any sort of silly boosting before the release of GTA 6. 

If that is the case, then the racing community will go up in flames, and i will love to watch it.

If you're talking about the Lost Slamvan... Jesus Christ, what is it about that and the Lost MC Gang Burrito that makes it taboo to own ourselves? Honestly, why do R* continue to have their heads up their asses about this? F*ck me... :facedesk:

 

Anyway, just thought I'd chime in real quick about E&E (if we can even call it that anymore). I plan to get it for Series X, but I still don't have the console yet. Even though I appreciate the improvements they made and the new cars they added (of course two of them could've been given to us already in the Contracts), overall I believe they could've done so much better, maybe not in additional content, but at least with graphical improvements and QOL changes. After watching some Youtubers videos, like Broughy for instance when he initially announced the problems with character transfer, it just made me not worry so much about not having the Series X version, due to how little changes we got to the new versions of the game. I feel like I can wait a little bit for the Series X version of the game. I was at least hoping for more fixes for bugs and glitches, like when you are scrolling through jobs to find for a playlists, and just more things to make life a little easier. The increased payouts to MC businesses is definitely a step in the right direction, but I assume you still can't feasibly do them solo, right? Also, changes/additions to the Creator or being able to choose any job you want after you just played one without having to go back to freeroam were among other things I wanted to see. Why does it take them so damn long to make changes like that? And are the things I just mentioned fixable on current-gen anyway? I'd really love to know.

 

At the very least, I'm glad to see the game isn't being sold for $70, like some people thought it would be. IMO I think this upgrade should be no more than $10 after the sales are over, but I know some people argue that it should've been free anyway, since many other games are doing upgrades for free too. I will get the upgrade at some point, but I am just pissed off at how much R* overhyped this re-release. And I know you guys will say to not get your hopes up, and you are right. I just feel like those two trailers and the articles they posted were a bit of false advertising, but I'm sure I can be proven wrong anyway.

I really wish I recorded myself! The reason being, I had lined up my Vigilante up with someone's car and let 'er rip :kekw: then it bounces off a building :sadkek: then blows up across the street of the clothing shop :prismkek:

There was a player in the clothing store, they must have been confused to see a car in the window flying and spontaneously combusting across the street

That would make the most sense, especially considering they've been using the same engine for every game since Rockstar Presents Table Tennis. 
RDR, RDR2, GTA IV, GTA V are all on R.A.G.E., albeit different versions. 
With GTA: Online going standalone I'm pretty sure it'll be the same online for GTA VI, but with a map expansion.

Probably already been mentioned but the sound effect of a garage door opening/closing has been changed. Also, Exporting the high class vehicles has stopped working.

 

I made the migration last night, the game looks amazing in 60fps, switching between Performance and Performance RT mode atm, trying to distinguish which is better.

I timed it at 14s from public lobby to invite only. But the fact you can change session to and from public/IO at any time is what makes a huge difference if you play like that

I mean, yes, but I used to play on a Xbox One X with an external NVMe drive, so if you're used to a One with a spinny HDD, much better, or if you're on PS, no clue

For the general community yes, for them no. These people are so used to curb boosting, brake boosting, short shifting, the list goes on, that if they lose these silly cheats (which do require skill don't get me wrong) they won't have unfair advantages anymore and will have to relearn how to race.

This is what makes me laugh with Broughy's concerns about continuing to test cars. He's worried that he's not good enough to test anymore because he's not the best at the silly cheats. Who the f*ck cares about those cheats?! Most viewers sure don't. The racing community would only be using his videos as a starting point anyway. They would be figuring out which car is best on which track with their own experience. Something they've always done because they'll be the ones paying more attention to if a track is a lot of long straights, in city turns, or stunt tubes. They don't need to know from him which car is fastest with those silly cheats.
