The Failed Migration Topic

With most players looking to migrate their characters and Rockstart stating that this wouldnt be possible for accounts that have somehow acquired illegimate money / RP / whatever, let's see what it's all about.

 

Here are some information you could share on your migration:

 

• Status: Failed / Completed
• Character Level
• Old Gen / New Gen consoles
• Glitches performed  on your old gen account: Duplication, Back to Back heist finales, Peter Griffin AFK, Money drops on PS3/Xbox360, you name it....
• Estimated amount of money / items you attempted to carryover
• Glitched money % vs total money earned in game

 

Feel free to add anything else.

 

Obviously only share information you are comfortable with.

This will be interesting to see which "cheats" are being flagged, I suspect recent "cheats" as in some people are able to migrate older one's.

One of my favourite Red Dead youtube content producer has a GTAO account on PS4 he carried over from PS3 with over 55 BILLION dollars on it.

 

I highly doubt he'll be able to carryover

The only account ive had eligible is one of my old ps3 modded accounts as my other legit accounts including my day 1 360 have transferred to pc which for some stupid reason locks me out of console transfer 

 

Status: Completed

Rank: 1322

Cash: around 480 million

Glitches: GCTF but its a straight up modded account done on a ps3. Custom rank, cash, and 3 garages of custom cars

Total earned 600 Mill from an "other" source $0 earned from jobs

 

Account went from ps3>Xb1>XsX

level 500 ish, about 150m cash. Glitched money from previous dupes and buy everything for free

I will try in ten hours or so.

 

I have a few billion (only about 600M could be considered legit. the rest was obtained by frozen money cars, dupe glitches and heist resets. Also a bit of swapgate which is when you swapped character and got a bunch of money every time.) and am in the upper 1000s (legit though) so I will have to see. I still have some frozen money cars on my second character and they should make it.  I am a little worried about a few modded cars I have (colors or wheels) that may get reverted to a default state.

No problems here, all my cash, property, cars, and clothing is all present and correct.

 

PS4>PS5, 279m, all properties available fully upgraded, all full of cars/bikes/aircraft, rank 1255.

Pretty good to hear! I'm feeling a bit more confident, though I still don't like the whole removal of my ps4 data.

Agreed, it's such a poor choice from R* there. I'm lucky I've a scrub account that I can use on PS4 when those buddies are on that can't yet transfer, if we do heists, they'd have had my cut anyway if I could use my main as once transferred we wouldn't be able to re-transfer, lol. But it's such an awful decision no less.

Migration successful here as well. All my assets are present and accounted for, no hiccups. All crew colors transfered properly as well.

 

Level 1635 & $1.466 billion in cash, all legit.

 

Story mode transfered successfully as well.

 

Xbox One >> Xbox Series X.

This company is hopeless. I still remember how they wiped millions from legit players while modded accounts remained completely untouched few years back. How hard is it to detect obvious red flags in stats ESPECIALLY when you allow yourself major f*ck ups that result in review bombing anyway. I'd be surpirised if anyone has any trouble transfering due to money glitches/modding at all.
