where are the new online cars r* for pc?

Hi, R*! 

 

I see that your "polished" game is out and with minor or no bugs in it . also forgetting last gen in the process for those who have friends on one/ps4 cant go back because you dropped support like a bad anime. 

 

Now the question everyone in the pc community is where is our support for these new cars and ''enhanced and enlarged" features ?

 

We want a simple answer but your r* and your afraid of talking to the community.

 

Also you had 2 years could of done something amazing oh idk add online stuff to sp im sure its not hard the modding could do it in a hr. Look at cyberpunk they are fixing that mess of the game. 

 

You expect pc to pay for this when you just did was a few minor changes and a new ui? come back when you have something better to offer. 

 

You also expect consoles to play for this shoddy work after the "free trial " ps5 version ends smh 

 

 

This will probably get removed but its the truth and the community isn't that impressed a mixed bag feeling is not a good one esp from a company as yours. 

 

also if i transfered from ps3 > ps4 > pc > ps5/x you wont allow it or my pc data will get wiped....no ...many would agree not to start over in 2022.

There will probably be an announcement for an update for PC in a few months. And there might be a miniscule chance, but with that I mean like almost 0 percent chance that PC suddenly gets an update but it is impossible basically.

Technically the game has not had its worldwide release yet, a lot of places were either playing it on New Zealand time or have only just got it, so we could see an Update for PC drop tomorrow or next week.

I only want the new cars, really. It should be a piece of cake to add them for the devs. It's even less content than a regular DLC.

Some people are so clueless. There's a reason the game is called Expanded and Enhanced. There more going on under the game that will make if more fun as it is Expanded and Enhanced. I play it yesterday and it is quite an upgrade. Even when GTA 6 comes out, people will still complain.

You're obviously not on Series X or PS5.

$20 is nothing for the upgrade. No made you pay for anything. I don't understand why everyone is here complaining if it's that bad. Elden Ring just came out.... Oh wait. People are complaining about that too... Everyone is complaining about every popular game. Maybe some people just need to find another hobby.

am i complaining? Im saying what every person who bought the pc version is feeling right now.

Or maybe because it is theire hobby and game devoloper try to scam people more and more? 

 

Tbh, to just consume and don't take his hobby seriously himself, just proofs, that it's not a real hobby for you. You just consume, like some only sit for the tv. A hobby is not just "using something". It's to care about it too. If you don't care, you are the same kind of people, that random kills and then say: Don't be mad, it's just a game. 

 

This is a excuse to be an asshole in my opinion. (On that context, not directly to you)

And with your statement, you kinda fit right into that. Think about it. If you really care, you wouldn't let youself get f*cked over. Many gta players (or older players in general) know different times, because they are older. Maybe you are just to young to get it? Don't know. But please don't try to be that ignorant. Many people has pretty valid points. Not everyone is just "complaining"

Since this topic is here I fully agree with @Quinn_flower

 

This is not a good 'deal' for the consumer and especially having to pay for it after the 'trial' three months ends.

 

I played it yesterday and I took that decision to transfer my data even though it would be gone from the PS4, that is a real 'sucks' move, when we had the transfer from PS3 to PS4 they at least 'kept' the old data so you could still play with your friends but NO now I have to be a 'solo' boy since no else I know has managed to get a PS5.

 

Also only five cars for PS5 exclusive at the moment - that's pretty lame, they are good cars though, the weaponsided Pegassi and the 86/Supra crossover are pretty fun and I did the upgrade on the Turismo Classic which makes it insanely good fun to drive now but everything else is juts like 'MEH' same old PS4.

 

Granted the frame rate and polish are very nice improvements, that was much needed (I had a lobby) where there was a whole bunch of stuff going on and it didn't crash my game, I have to do the ultimate test on that later tho for frame rate LOL's.

 

The new menu's are also a bit clunky, I don't like that when you click on something in the game menu at the start for online you are just dropped randomly at some 'location' on the map, I spawned in literraly beside an Opressor Mk II and got blown up before the game had even loaded, that needs work if you elect to go straight into online from the menu as most probably will, also of course they made it less obvious that Invite Only lobbies exist with the new menu's which I expected TBH.

 

This could have been SO much better but now that I've had my little 'taste' of the trial unless something substantial comes along it will be maybe a once a week drop in to do a few things etc.

These new vehicles are around as an INCENTIVE to old players for upgrading. With R* charging a price for the upgrade, the company does need to release some kind of incentive to entice players to pay again for effectively the same content. 

This happens all the time in videogames with things like Pre-orders or Pre-ordering with a specific retailer, you get an incentive for getting it there and then. It's the same reason for linking your Social Club account for free vehicles or your Twitch Prime account - the consumer has to get something.

I imagine with a later release some point in the future, other players (PC) will get this content.

I paid the $20 on SeriesX — not free but $20 is reasonable price.

 

PC is a smaller market segment and always gets content after consoles, unlike Xbox One & PS4 — whom won’t get anymore content updates — PC should continue to progress with Series X and PS5.

Actually you aren't. You bought GTA V and got Online with it. You may have bought the game for the Online part but it was still free with the GTA V story mode you bought. Sharkcards are also optional to buy some content in GTA Online. Series X/S did pay for Online and extra for story mode. If PC never gets HSW cars or even any new DLC it would be a sh*tty thing to do but PC never paid for GTA Online.

I agree. Also people are acting like it is paying for the game to look a bit better and a couple of cars but there will be a time when the PS4 and Xbox One won't get DLC anymore just like 360 and PS3 so while we are just paying for the graphics and cars right now one day we will be paying so we can keep playing the new content. This is far better than when the PS4/Xbox version was released we had to pay full price back then but now it is far cheaper and if we don't want story mode again it is even cheaper or free on PS5 for the next 3 months.

 

I get PC players are annoyed and I personally wouldn't care if PC got the new content the same day as new gen but this could just be a little bonus for buying early like the 3 month game discount is with PC getting that content in the next DLC. If they are going to continue adding cars to HSW I can't see PC constantly missing out.

They are not discontinuing content updates on ps4/xbox one. That would alienate 75% of GTA Online players. That'd be bad for shark card sales.

I hope they'll be included in the next update. 4 months of console exclusivity should be enough. I'm not playing the game anymore anyway -- I would be if the new cars were added to PC.

Two points. 
1. You can change your spawn settings in the interactive menu. This hasn't changed since the 360. You can select a business, a home, last location, random, etc.  It sounds like yours was either set to "Random" or "Last Location".
2. Invite only lobbies are actually more visible now and easier to get into. When you select "New Session" you are met with a list of lobby types. Before E&E the only way to switch lobby types was to either go back to single player, or into the creator.

I think R* going to include this Next Gen "Exclusive" Content / QoL Changes in the next DLC for PC

Because:

1- I think this is considered A small size update

2- If R* released it right now on PC "What they going to call it?" like for ex: On ps5 it says on the new vehicles it's "Part of PlayStation 5" and on Xbox X/S it's "Part of Xbox Series X/S"

Correct. But no matter how many times you say it, it never seems to sink in, and you need to be very careful how you say it.

 

It's a few new cars and some minor speed upgrades to show off the faster SSD's and fps but more importantly, as you said, to justify charging money for it. If R* charged PC players for the update they would have rioted, and I also don't think it's fair on the people that paid for it that the exclusive content will likely go to PC sometime later. Everyone paid the full price when GTA launched, but PC has always had significantly more features but its only an issue when consoles have more for once.

 

PC players also didn't need to pay for the Xbox One and PS4 update either so...

oh boy here comes the console fans. Before anyone say im a pc fangirl or whatever i played on consoles i bought gta on ps since gta 3. 

 

We Paid the entry price just like everyone else here. Yea we should be up in flames because of this because pc is always treated like the red headed middle child. And they have the balls to charge normal price on pc when we are missing content... like no. 

 

We shouldnt have to wait everything should of been released on day 1 not a year or 5 months down the road and r* pissed off the pc community with not a word about pc leading up to release.

it could of been released as small size update and its not a small size update considering they added new features and shops and time trials so its a mini dlc.

Does that same logic apply to console users waiting all this time for 4K/60fps? Or is that logic only one way? We all paid the same for entry, console players have paid three times now while PC players have paid once.

Should they have "just played it on PC"? By that same logic, just buy a console if you want the new stuff.

consoles didnt have the tech then when last gen first came out. maybe when the pro/one came out then yes why they didnt after so many years idk its r* logic.

Then PC should not have got the higher settings then should it? It should have been 360 graphics and performance at launch and then a paid upgrade with the rest of them for better graphics. It's only fair that all platforms get all features at the same time and pay the same amount, right?
