We lost Kano - Can't Hold Back (Your Lovin') on Space 103.2 last year with the Tuners update, but how many songs will be removed when this releases. Only time will tell. NightmanCometh96 Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 (edited) I'm guessing few songs, if any, will be cut right away (aside from Kano's "Can't Hold Back Your Lovin'", which was removed as of the Tuners update, IIRC). Going by R*'s track record of previous 10 year anniversaries, I would expect the major removals to start happening at some point in 2023. Of course, it could very well be different this time around, since GTAO is still getting updated on a somewhat regular basis. Spoiler I really hope this comment doesn't age poorly like some of the ones I made about the Trilogy DE before its release... As far as I know, as one who does music, licenses need renewing after (from what I gather) 1 year. They would pay the licenses every year for use until they either don't pay it or it's with drawled from the composer. However, I think they have something for which they can purchase the licenses for the Game overall without the yearly contract. In this case, if they re-release, then I think they have to re-apply for those licenses for this new release. This is a 50/50 chance it'd be granted or rejected. (Which would make sense due to some music being removed on current gen that was previously on old gen). If this happened before, don't be surprised it happens again.
