Recommendations and Setups of GTA:SA - What do you have? What are your essentials?

My current essential setup is:

Downgraded Steam Version (downgraded with SA Downgrader)

Ingame Display Settings: (1920x1080x32, View Distance: Full, AA: 4x, Visual FX Quality: OFF)

ENB Series 0.75 (with a very weak .ini just with reflections and water, even with "UseDeepWater 0", everything else off)

MixSets (with streaming memory set to 1024MB, everything else I kept default)

GInputSA (I set it to 2, because I like the GTA IV controls better)

Improved Fastloader

Load Whole Map (Full setting 7)

SA Essentials Pack (EVERYTHING, EXCEPT WINDOW MODE - because my ENB Series version will not open automatically)

Project 2DFX (ONLY Draw Distance, set on 2000 - Set everything else on 0 also IDETweaker everything on 0.0)

 

Additionally to this, my current optional setup is:

SAxVCxLC

Original HD weapons

Rikintosh Small Details Mod

Enter as Pessenger

RZL-Trainer

turnoffradio

 

I do not use, but can suggest for better PC's:

Newer ENB Series (I have up to 20 FPS less on any setting with newer ENB Series, but I would try on another computer)

Project 2DFX with LOD Lights, etc. (I use only for Draw Distance, because with LOD Lights, etc. I get 15 FPS less, even with minimal settings, but I would try on another computer)

 

This works very well with my weak Windows on ARM device and SAxVCxLC at 40 FPS, lowest drops at 25 FPS while rain and much traffic.

Basically follow the video in post #3, but skip everything that I did not mention. That is a good combination, and I will update the post here if something bad happens.

Maybe you can still recommend me some essential things, which don't need too much hardware.

What are your ideas, suggestions, and your essentials?

Last time I played was like 8 years ago. I changed this thread to hopefully something more useful: Here we can post our setups and recommendations.

So my questions are:

Does it make sense what I put together here? And will it make sense if I will use what I am planning to use?

Is MixSets and Largeaddress obsolete in my situation?

I only would use them to increase the memory sizes. But is this even necessary in my case?

Because I use fastman92 and SilentPatch, is a memory size modification already included?

@Undertaker555 I don't have a program suggestion because it seems you already have it but you should install your game in this folder.. "C:/Games". You can also install the other GTA games init.. And don't forget to check your drivers and install Visual C++. Directx 

 

It will be healthy if you would like to install Sanny Builder and code something.. I learned my lesson with losing most of my pickups during editing weapons

EDIT: I edited this whole post and put it in quotes, because I changed the thread from an individual setup to an general thread. You can just ignore this post, except you need the video I mentioned that helped me.

 

This post was me, trying to solve a few problems. I edit it now to be in quotes, because it is already solved.

Actually now I found a good video on YouTube now which shows many good mods.

This is a good basis, even for a weak PC.

 

 

 

 

 

Following this video, I had a few problems, but they are solved already:

Sadly, now I have much less FPS than before. I had ~45 FPS, and now only 25-30 FPS.

I now installed everything again with some things missing. Now it plays better, but the map is not centered anymore in the mini-map.

Also the health bar is too much left and not centered anymore.

Kind of solved: It fixed itself, I don't know what happened, but now it is fine.

 

 

And something with ENB Series is wrong, because it doesn't start automatically anymore.

I need to start it with changing the resolution or AA in game, so the game somehow again checks for ENB Series.

I don't know why this is.

SOLVED: It was a "Windowed Mode", that prevented the game form recognize ENB Series. I removed this from the modloader folder.

 

 

I am nearly done with the re-setup by using this video, and the FPS are still fine.

Only MixSets, Load Whole Map and Project2DFX is not added, so I suspect it is MixSets or Load Whole Map, because already before I tried to remove Project2DFX, and it did not change much on the FPS.

I will post when I know what it was.

Kind of solved: I reinstalled everything, and it now works at 40 FPS. I don't know what I did different, sorry..

EDIT: SOLVED: It was Project 2DFX - I sadly can't use this mod for it's actual purpose (LOD Lights, etc.), because it steals about 15 FPS, even with a really minimal config. Just Draw Distance I kept on and disabled everything else in it, even though it looks really nice..

After now a few hours of experimenting I can conclude: I have a good setup now. Hopefully this thread will help someone maybe, so it was not just a monologue of myself for nothing.
