Marciliojunior01
Is clear that rockstar has shifted its direction in terms of car design, from mashups of vehicles that doesnt even resemble each other creating something that half of the time doesnt really work (itali gtb, pariah, FMJ) to now where they pretty much take an existing car and change some features in order not to be identical. If that is a good thing or not it depends on who you ask, but the community in general seems to be happy with this direction. But here is the question, which car has pushed more the boundaries between fiction and reality ? Which car do you hop in and end up calling it by its real name without even noticing ? I am really curious to see your thoughts, but to start the discussion in my oppinion the closest in terms of exterior desing is the Declasse Vamos, the car is so similar to a Nova that is almost impossible to distinguish features from other vehicles, the only thing making it not 1:1 is the interior that doesnt look right, if rockstar had used the ellie interior for it the car would be a copyright infringment. A close second would be the blista kanjo SummerFreeze
IceDree
There're bunch of extremely accurate cars, but I'll pick the most controversial one of the bunch, the Enus Jubilee. Sure, the Cavalcade interior is trash, Lady E, side markers & the suicide doors are missing, but the rest is accurate ... Down to the eyesore keyhole Rolls Royce love to use. They nailed this thing. Look at R* interpretation of the Bentley Bentayga in comparison, it doesn't look anything remotely similar to the Bentayga nor the Falcon concept. Come to think of it, its the most accurate contemporary Rolls Royce we have in the game so far. R* leaned heavily on the Imperial concept & compromised the Super Diamond, it just doesn't have the presence of the Phantom VII. R* took far too many liberties with the Windsor twins. The Windsor is well made for its time, still recognizable and passable as a Wraith. I can't say the same about the Drop. And we still don't have a Ghost based Enus. It is very close indeed, specially on the sizing, is big but not too big. Shame the interior ruined it.

Willy A. Jeep
I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I'm not sure it's really down to the passing of time that the cars of GTA have grown more accurate, more that the modelling team has changed over time, or perhaps their oversight/direction. Plenty of cars as far back as GTA IV - fourteen years ago! - were close copies of their real-world analogues, but many were exaggerated or remixed too. I think this has always been down to which artist did the work, with some preferring a more cartoonish style while others like to make close copies. Maybe they're now encouraged to create models closer to real-world vehicles, but that's not for me to know. In the lifetime of GTAO, my two examples would be the Albany Emperor and the Canis Seminole Frontier. The Emperor - again, a GTA IV car! - is pretty clearly a 1978 Cadillac Sedan de Ville, if a bit flattened and squared-off. The Seminole Frontier isn't quite as detailed as it could be, but it's also nearly a clone of the Cherokee-based Wagoneer if not for changes to the nose. Not to say these are the "most accurate", just two very close analogues that I've personally spent a lot of time enjoying. sphynx_, Taterman, Yellow Dog with Cone and 3 others

Never took time to think about the emperor, and looking at this comparison now is quite shocking. It is a bit limited by 2008 modeling but they really tried. Commander S
A lot of the muscle/classic stuff from the latter half of the game's lifespan is remarkably close - the Dominator ASP and Stafford being good examples. Or there's stuff with more noticeable things like front/rear light swaps (like single headlights instead of paired on the Gauntlet Hellfire, or the taillights on the Gauntlet Classic), but other than those, they're almost 1:1 with the real McCoy. Can't decide over the Stafford or the Weevil, off the top of my head - think the Stafford has it by a whisker, but it's close... BoxiestSumo
Of the OG GTA V cars (not including the Sabre Turbo from GTA IV), the Buccaneer is quite close to the real life Riviera. Out of the newest cars, the most accurate in my opinion would be the Sultan Classic, Infernus Classic, Calico GTF, ZR350, Remus and the RT3000. Most of those also have properly CURVED B-PILLARS, which most gta cars based on modern (1965-) models don´t have (which is quite annoying). Standard Deluxe 59
The Calico GTF is pretty damn accurate to a Celica ST-205 and instantly recognizable as at least a Celica by anyone who played Gran Turismo or looked into 90's sporty Japanese cars. Really wish there was the riviera double bar style bumper as a mod for the buccaneer, is the only thing missing since we already have the hood as an option. Pedinhuh
Albany Roosvelt, Gauntlet Classic, Gauntlet Hellfire, Paragon R, Coquette D10, Weevil, Stafford, Faction and Seminole Frontier are the cars that first comes to mind to me. But the top 1 is Zion Classic, even the interior design is almost a carbon copy. Yellow Dog with Cone and Marciliojunior01
