Has Rockstar added any subtle new features/AI behavior in the last few years?

I've been playing GTAonline off and on since it first launched, but recently I've been noticing a lot of little things that I hadn't noticed before. So I'm wondering: have Rockstar added subtle new features/AI behavior that they hadn't explicitly mentioned in update notes or am I crazy? A few things off the top of my head:

  1. Euphoria physics seem a little more pronounced than it was originally. The last time I played, I jumped off my bike and the way my body tumbled, it felt a lot more like GTA IV than I remembered.
  2. NPC behavior such as more varied animations, lengthier phone call conversations, new verbal responses to your characters actions.
  3. NPC vehicle pathfinding. Seems a lot better to me lately, although the kamikaze drivers are still present.

Would love to hear ya'll's thoughts.

no, nothing really changed in that as far as i know.

rather might be placebo or you just havent recognised it before or you didnt pay attention to it very much.

They did change the erratic driving behaviors of the NPCs. Now they will actively try to hit your vehicle while you're driving (especially if you're in a police chase) or if you try to walk along/across the road.

Nothing has been changed. NPC traffic has always driven erratically in any circumstance where gunshots (both on foot and in a car) are heard, even if you are not the cause or even associated with said gunshots.

They're also programed to move out of the way when approached by an emergency vehicle with with lights/siren active. Players being chased by police often provide both stimulus (which is compounded by police vehicles spawning in out of nowhere right in front of you) and as as a result, far more unpredictable behavior can be observed.

It's not a new behavior, just far more common with all the tasks we're required to do in the current version of online.

Because gumshots is not a thing.
