E Revere
This is freaking legendary bro, right up there with COTS. I gotta say, Gennadi is a bit of an ugly guy. Is it the dope that Gracie sees in him? Is it the dope that Gracie sees in him? Of course he's ugly because he got wrecked by drugs, alcohol and not only hahah. But in his case it's mostly his magnetic personality that draws people to him. Jeansowaty
MISSION #2 - Economic Problems Mission Giver: Vlad Gennadi enters Comrades. There we can see some familiar people - Mickey by the bar, Sergei being drunk, Marko sitting by the counter. Sergei: Mickey! Pour me another one, right now! Mickey: No. Sergei: I need my drink, right now, blyat! Mickey: Uh-uh. Sergei: Why you no wanna pour me more? Mickey: Because you have no more money! - Marko chuckles. Sergei: Ah yeah... I will go get more... Mickey: Just you watch your step. Gennadi: Yo! Sergei, who almost walks into him, stumbles and falls: Hey... Mickey: Hey, be careful... Sergei: Gennadi... Gennadi: Drunk like always, eh? - He gives him a hand and helps him out. Marko: Hey G. - they dap each other up. Gennadi: You better help this sorry bastard to his house. Marko: What about you? Gennadi: Vlad said he's got some work to run so uh... I'd really help but you know. There's things that are important and more important. Marko: Okay. I'll be on phone if you need me. - He wraps his arm around Sergei and helps him out. Sergei: One more drink... or not... brrrr... - The two leave the bar. Camera pans to the back, where Vlad is seen giving Mallorie a hug. She is visibly unhappy and fakes a smile into Vlad's face. Vlad: We're all square, sweetie. You can go. - she leaves via backdoor, Gennadi gives her rear a quick glance only to be interrupted by Vlad's low voice. - Gennadi the Zhukov! The one and only! Not drunk today? Gennadi: Luckily for you - not. But you know, this place is tempting. - he says while putting his hands on his hips. Vlad: Hehehe, I know you way too good. Take a seat. - So they do, the table has three shot glasses and one Nogo Vodka bottle. - Drinks are on me. - Vlad pours Gena and himself a shot. - Zdarovye! - They click the glasses and drink. - What did I... uh... yeah, I got a job for you. Gennadi: I bet. I didn't come here for the drinks only! Vlad: Of course. Yes, I need you to "talk" with someone. Gennadi: Talk with someone? Vlad: Yes, change his mind. Gennadi: Change whom? - Vlad looks around and whispers, angrily however: Vlad: Some f*cking union official, that's whom! Gennadi: Uh-huh. What did he do? Vlad: Bastard came into bar and said he wants to close it, some new smoking policy or whatever. I'm not gonna allow him to do that. What am I, charity? You're gonna go over to Firefly Island and talk with him. And you know... - He puts the same bat on the table as the one he tried to give to Niko - ...f*ck him up. Just don't f*ck him up too much. We don't need too much bad attention. - Gena grabs the bat, while still smirking at Vlad. Gennadi: Consider it done, Vladdy. Ain't gonna let no Amerikanets touch any of our establishments, you know that. - he stands up and goes for the door. Vlad: I do. Go to Firefly Island. As you arrive, you will see the Union Official sitting in a red Premier. In the cutscene Gennadi approaches his window. Gennadi: Hey, I hear you're having a hard on for closing bars in the area. Official: You certainly don't look like one of my informants. Get lost. Gennadi: Look, we can do this the easy way or the not so easy way, it's your call. Comrades is not closing. Understood? Official: Screw you, pal! You damn Russians will not intimidate me! (drives off) Scare off the official by ramming him off the road. Your task is to dent the Premier, but not kill the guy. You're allowed to ram him off the road, shoot at it, etc. However, after ramming him about 3 times, you will get a 2-star wanted level. The mission will fail if the official dies and when he reaches his house in Downtown. You don't have a lot of time and you also can't shoot his car till it goes on fire. During the chase the official will taunt the player randomly, Gennadi will also have some taunts. Official: Hey, what are you doing, you insane f*ck? Official: You'll be in trouble for this you punk! Official: Leave me the hell alone! Official: I'm just trying to do this city a favor! Official: I'm just doing my job, I have to feed the kids too! Official: If I die in this car you will never leave prison, you psycho! Gennadi: Pull, the f*ck, over! Now! Gennadi: Hey! Friend! I just want to talk, no big feelings. Gennadi: You're taking away people's freedoms, damn this country! Gennadi: Leave the car right now and I promise, I'll go easy on your face! Gennadi: Once that's done the drinks are on me, I swear! Gennadi: You're making this way too hard for the both us. Once he's pulled over, a small cutscene plays him leaving the car, he's trying to make a run for it on foot. Official: You'll never take me! Gennadi: Run cop, run! I'll make your face prettier anyway! Beat up the official. Do not kill him. You now have to chase the guy on foot and beat him down with either your fists or the given baseball bat. Technically you can swap the bat for a knife prior to attacking the guy but it won't make a difference anyway. As long as it's a melee gun, you're good - if you fire at him with a gun, he will die instantly, failing the mission of course. The two have unique taunts now too. Official: Help, this maniac is trying to kill me! Gennadi: No, I'm not, I just want to change your mind, whaddya take me for? Official: Somebody stop this psychopath! Gennadi: I beg your pardon, I'm not a psycho, I'm just paid to do a job! Official: He's after me, help, somebody help! Gennadi: Ain't no use running, come here you corporate f*ck! Once he's beaten up to a degree, a short cutscene like in Ilyena's random encounter will play with the guy cowering in fear. Official: Alright, alright, tell your bosses the bar won't be closed down, I swear, just don't hurt me, okay? Okay? Gennadi: If I see you in that bar again I won't be held responsible for what I'm going to do, unless you're the one paying the tab, ya hear? Now go! Run the f*ck away before I hurt you any further! (guy runs away) Lose your wanted level. After losing it, Mission passed: 750$ (tune) Contact point for Faustin (F) is available for you after Mission #3 is completed. Gennadi: No one is going to be telling you to close down Comrades, Vlad. Enjoy your drinks. Vlad: Gennadi, this is wonderful news! Feel free to drop by to the bar anytime you like, feel as if you are home. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, we won't be seeing Ivan no more. He fell out of Mikhail's favor. He's done for. Gennadi: Blyat, he earned. Things are getting tense, man. Me, and you, and Dimitri for that matter should be careful around Mikhail too. Stay safe Vlad. If you fail the mission by: -killing the official. The official is dead. Gennadi: Hey Vlad. The guy has been taught his lesson. It's a permanent one. Hopefully they won't send anyone else to close down the bar. Vlad: f*ck! I told you to f*ck him up but not like that! We can tell my bar goodbye now. Thanks, Zhukov! Gennadi: I'm sorry. Maybe you should open something else in its place? I'll speak to you soon, Vlad. -the Official reaching his house. The official reached his house. Gennadi: I got some bad news, Vladdy. I managed to piss the guy off but I don't think he's going to back off. I'm sorry. Vlad: Damn it, Gena, I trusted you to take care of this and you failed me! Come back to the bar and we'll discuss what to do next. The same call will be presented if: You lost the official. You ruined your chance to intimidate the official. Akaviri
I enjoyed a smoke while reading that. What's up with Vlad and his baseball bat? Maybe he's got a wiretap hidden inside of it. That jingle for mission complete is hilarious! Excellent work Jeansowaty and H-G 1

Excellent work I figured, if Nicky didn't make any use of it, maybe Gena will Yeah, as a collab I made the theme tune with a friend of mine from Belarus and I'm taking excerpts from it as Mission Passed themes. Tbh I'm not that insanely proud of how the main theme sounds like, but the map tune? ...I'd say it's more than a 5/10, I hope. Thanks for chiming in :3 I didn't forget about this but well, life! Akaviri
I'd say we're in a down period right now. It's nice to have any updates at all as far concept threads. Jeansowaty

True that. I still recommend to read Al's Heavy Lies The Crown that ties in with this thing. My man's went very far ahead with his story but it's definitely worth a read
Akaviri
I love the whole trilogy you guys have created. It takes me back to 2012 when MOB and I had put together Tales From Liberty City. I hope it all gets wrapped up at some point, even if it takes another year or two. We all have lives and creative slumps. I've always got time to hear a GTA IV era story. For the sake of any public interest I'm happy to say I'm very far ahead on LC78 and it is nearing completion. Nicki
This is freaking awesome dude… I loved and enjoyed to read that can‘t wait for more missions to come, it’s like reading a book, but better I feel like I am playing this as a DLC in game, much like Family Ties created by MOB. I'm really the same. I'm excited about GTA VI but I really wish they will do a really dark take on Miami (presumably) like New York in GTA IV with this epic take that all these guys have taken on it. I really love to log on and see a new update in this section. And VI section is seems to be a lot of toxic posts all saying the same but trying to say it better. Where did he study? I actually kinda skipped over mission #3 and went on to write later ones aside from that, well, this man's been in America since the early 90s, similar to Faustin and Dimitri. It's bound that his English is pretty good at that time. He's been around Americans more than Mikhail and Dima too, being the muscle of their operation. I just felt that since he's been in the States for about 15 years there's no need to make his grammar sound as bad as Vlad's or something Ivan1997GTA and iiCriminnaaL
