Concept Grand Theft Auto IV - Heavy Lies The Crown [CONCEPT]

I wanted to do two things with this one, The First: a nice tie-up/fanservice moment by tying some of Manny's Missions to IV. Juan Trujillo and his boys were the "bad cats" Manny sends NB to wipe out in Street Sweeper. Figured it'd be subtle enough to not be annoying, and "cute" enough to be cool. The Second: Cover for Manny and not make an accidental plot hole. If the Lords ever catch whiff of what this guy who literally got kicked out of the band like, 5 or so years ago for doing too much H is sending foreign hitman for his boys, they'd have to be searching bits and pieces of him all over Bohan for weeks. Them getting blamed on the Triad war is either him being street-smart (which makes the documentary monumentally but characteristically stupid, he's literally snitching on himself a-la 50 Cent) or him getting lucky. Regardless, Niko's hits are (mostly) blamed on Kenny's boys.

It would’ve been good that Miguel goes off to another unit to deliver the payment – Sal meets with Sokrat to collect the guns. The Triads flood the floor and Sal has to use the cache of guns to reach Miguel and battle to ground level.

That, my dear old friend, is @donnits ' "proudest work". (His words, not mine). A Max Payne 3 football shirt (Donnie spent a long while porting that little idea of mines to IV and i'll eternally be thankful for it) reskinned to look like a Liberty Cocks shirt. The Atletico connection I didn't even make until now because surprisingly enough, I am amongst the ten Spaniards who don't care about footie. Fun fact! Mission 7 is the SECOND appereance of this outfit. Its hard to see because the way the screencaps are framed but an alternative darker football shirt was worn by Sal in Mission/Chapter 3, when he and Ernesto get those housing contracts "signed".  Also the original arm texture ended up not being consistent with Sal's skin tone (which I was a dumb-dumb and only noticed AFTER I finished shooting the screenies) so at the very least, here is the updated current version of Football Sal.

Thanks for all the feedback dude, I'm finally out of that block and starting prep-work for the season finale. If I can pull it off, it'll be pretty nice, I think. Planning to use a barely used IV location in a very spectacular way.

Damn these models are so cool. My only criticism is something I noticed right away. On soccer jerseys the crest is usually on the left of the shirt and the manufacturer logo on the right like eris or heat.

Wow, I’m gonna be totally honest – I completely overlooked this! Definitely subtle enough not to be just fan service, but a kickass little connection all the same.

I picked up on this in Sangra Rosa too – I’ll throw in a link to the mission because we’re on a new page. Maybe it won’t be blamed on Kenny this time and Liz Torres will get the heat from it. There are so many potential consequences. It’s also cool that you’ve elaborated on the original mission too – and the kind of teaser for a potential Of Blood and Loyalty mission you might’ve let slip.

Also meant to say – don’t look back too harshly on your earlier missions either. I agree, you’re absolutely killing it now, but they are good.
