seen quite a few modded/glitched accounts make it through but then others also saying they havent...

Like, the time I tried to report a bug I encountered & it took 5 back and forth messages before the person acknowledged I was reporting a bug, not that I was complaining about an error and that I didn't need any tier 1 trouble shooting bullsh*t.

 

If only they had billions of dollars to spend on decent customer service reps.

Better yet hire top fans who actually go and find bugs! That's my opinion, hire top fans that regularly dig through these things and have it reported. 

But then again, why would they do that if they make money from it.

Great news for anyone that transferred to PC, now they just need to fix the killing off of our ps4 characters so we can still play with friends.

A lot of people still can't get their hands on a next-gen console.

Sorry, but is there a cutoff date for the ability to transfer from ps4 to ps5? Like previous post said, I haven't been able to get my hands on a ps5 yet.

Can PS4 accounts that had previously been migrated from PS3 be transferred  to PS5? Or is that not possible?

WTH. I literally launched the game at 8:30pm (figured they released it early), transferred my account over, unlocked all the achievements from the previous gen, started a mission. Then the game crashes and I get Error 0x82D40003. Restart my console and now it is saying I am too early again...

No cut off date as of yet and since 90% of their client base hasn't had the opportunity to upgrade yet, it won't be anytime soon.

Yes. Heavily glitched and modded characters (literal lvl 8000 trillionairs) have been transferred without issue.

After being stuck in Black screen for minutes, I restarted my app. Clicked Join Online and instantly popped Platinum trophy. Got stuck at 90%, closed app then restarted from story mode and now Im online just fine.

Short story, if your stuck in Black screen and load symbol is gone, just close app

FYI if you don’t have a “character 1”  (mine was deleted from the day 1 issues of gta online) and your main character is in slot 2, after migration you may have to create a new character. Once you load in to the game you should be able to swap characters. This just happened to me and I thought I lost everything lol.

I wonder if your previous gen character doesn't meet the migration standard and you try, will it still be there when you return to previous gen to play?  That would be a tough break.  It does seem a good tactic in terms of thinning the herd.  If your account is too shady for next gen, maybe they don't let you keep it at all.  I'd hate to juggle that one, losing years of work and rank.  I mean even some of these 8000 rankers must have earned their first 100, or 2.  I'd wait it out a bit if I was a console user.  Check back here and youtube always has informative videos on these kinds of things.  It's a waiting game.  I waited for a year to play this game on pc when it first released and console users waited 8 years to see how it looks on pc, so what's another few weeks or month?

Nope I can confirm that they still deleted my account after trying to play on last gen after trying to migrate

For those of you with BOTH next gen consoles. I just want to confirm again. 
 

it IS possible to transfer both my ps4 and xboxone characters over to ps5 and xbox series s?

 

So my ps4 guy would go to my ps5 and my xbox one guy would go to my series s

 

this is possible correct? It wont pose any issues or have one of my characters stuck on last gen?

 

reason i ask is because i own a series s but cannot for the life of me find a ps5
