'Go For Gold' award issue

I have an issue with this award, that is under 'The Cayo Perico Heist' awards (Page 2). It says: "Steal El Rubio's prized weapon during the Cayo Perico Heist". During the Heist I steal the gold weapon called 'Perico Pistol' from El Rubio's desk (did it at least 3-4 times) but I don't get the award for that. What can I try to achieve this unlock?

Do you actually finish the heist or you are one of those finale exploiters.

khmm.... I always do. Any suggestion instead of "compliments"?

Maybe try clearing cache (not sure which platform you're on, but just rename rockstar games folder in documents if PC or google your console+clear cache).

If you're on PC I guess it could be possible to get bugged if before you did this, you were given all weapons by cheaters including cayo pistol, if so, maybe try removing it by playing arena wreck it/buzzer beater.

Thx man! I try your method but not worked yet. Can you tell me in details how this 'weapon reset' method works? Thanks a lot in advance!
