For you who are the best shooters of the entire gta saga in general?

 which protagonists have more opportunity than others and why? opinions?

In the 3D Era, the best shooter is highly debatable as they all seem to match up equally with eachother in terms of skill. However, I think Vic Vance is the best out of them all simply because he served in the US Army and has military experience with firearms. Tommy Vercetti and Carl Johnson could also be some of the best shooters too. Tommy killed 11 mafia hitmen single handedly in an attempted ambush and CJ is capable of maxing out his skills at the range to the point of being able to dual wield sidearms.

 

Between the HD Liberty City protagonists, Niko is the best shooter. He served in the Yugoslav wars and then worked as a smuggler and a hitman for Bulgarin. Luis has taken shooting lessons and Johnny was a battle-hardened high ranking member of The Lost MC, so they probably come close to Niko too. Huang Lee is just a spoiled rich kid who came to the city for leisure and fun, but seems to be a natural at shooting and fighting as he was raised by the Triads.

 

Michael is undoubtedly the best shooter out of the V trio. Not only is it prevalent in his 'bullet-time' ability, but also in his skills stat and his criminal experience. Trevor has been in the Canadian Air Force and has military experience but also got kicked out and seems better skilled at flying and physical combat more than shooting. Franklin is young and therefore inexperienced but he's a fast learner and a really good driver.

 

 

So that would mean that Vic, Niko, and Michael are the best shooters in the series. But who is the overall best shooter of them all?

 

Niko seems to be a better shot than Vic, both have served time in the army but Niko seems to have endured more hardships and has gone through more crazy sh*t than Vic. However I feel like Michael is a slightly better marksman than Niko, not neccesarily because of his in game ability but more because of the fact that Michael is much older than Niko and thus has more experience as he's been a criminal for almost his whole entire life and not just for a portion of it. Michael is the calmest in combat situations (despite the fact that he's a hothead) and knows how to keep his cool during the worst shootouts.

 

So in TL;DR, Michael is the best shootist.
