red dead redemption II prologue story in my eyes if the beta content was implemented

in the RDRII beta there was 5 hours of cut content of the story and other characters, at the start of the story which originally was supposed to start in New Austin because there is a cut mission where John and Arthur duel a famous gunslinger in a saloon which ends in the gunslingers death and also how I know this is by the photo that Pearson has in the general store of the whole gang in early 1899 which would make sense because of the gunslinger mission at the saloon which the mission with gunslinger takes place in tumble weed which means this would be near the time they took the photo with the traveling stagecoach which Pearson has hung-up and this photo doesn't have Arthur's cut love interest Eliza in it which probably means she was cut during development while the photo was taken of the gang in engine by that point, anyways back on track so the New Austin section probably took place early 1899 like mid-Feb to early-Mar which makes sense for early gameplay, also probably in the beta this is the chapter where Arthur got his journal which is at the end of the chapter most likely and so then we move onto the black water chapter which would have taken place in mid-Mar to late-Apr or early-May which would make sense in the timeline because Arthur starts his journal entries slowly when they set up camp in the Southern West Elizabeth which Arthur starts drawing camp members and starts jotting down entries of events such as the plans for the heist which formed in late-Mar to mid-Apr which Micah had the idea for which would mean that the killing of a famous gunslinger would cause suspicion of the gang by the Pinkertons and also seeing people with the descriptions of the people who killed the gunslinger a few months ago especially scoping out a boat job and looking more suspicious to the law, probably Arthur and Hosea came up with a more low risk and mild paying job but Micah swindled Dutch into doing a bigger job with more risk's but an extreme payout so they would wait till mid-may to do this when least expected to go down and also the perfect time when the ferry's come in and so at this point in the story the Pinkertons figure out their whole plan and so they set up to ambush the gang on the boat and the other part of the gang commits a distraction while they go on the boat, but then Dutch and half of the gang including Charles, Bill, Javier, the Calendar Brothers and John jump people on a Black water ferry which ends in the job going awry and a bunch of planted Pinkerton agents jump them and wound John and both of the Calendar Brothers, also Dutch kills a woman on the way out for reasons unknown, which then ends up with the distraction crew also getting bush whacked and having to fight for their lives which ends up with jenny shot dead and later buried in Colter and so they flee Blackwater and the late-may Colter chapter starts, so thats just my thoughts on what could've been, I really suggest looking into the RDRII beta yourselves, its a whole rabbit hole, well hope you like the read, peace-loops

It sounds prettily, but alas, not true. The mission with Frank Heck was just an additional mission of "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman", and had nothing to do with the overall story. The prologue in the old territories, moreover, was never planned, it is not known exactly how New Austin functioned in the game because it was not originally there, but it was definitely not planned as part of the prologue, as well as the robbery of the ferry itself, already at very early stages of development, the winter prologue Colter was approved.

ah, makes sense, well it would have been cool to have an epilogue part, I just remembered the leaked map didn't have new austin, but if I were to make a prologue thats how I were to imagine it
