Be-Deliver Posted March 5 Share Posted March 5 The biggest reason people downgraded their installation to 1.0.8.0, 1.0.7.0 or below is mainly due to the modding capabilities these older versions of GTA IV have in comparison to the latest patch. This is the same reason why people downgrade their copy of GTA SA to version 1.0. Also, downgrading your copy restores the ability to play multiplayer that was removed with the RGL version.
