Ghost in The Machine
Hello, I recently ran into a posse called Hehehehe on PS4 Red Dead Online whom were following me and my posse around by friending or following us on PS4. They would lasso and drag us out of camp, constantly kill us to the point we couldn't play and hog tie us then burn us and our horses. It was causing people to want to rage quit and uninstall the game, we couldn't even play it!! Then, we went to "View SEN Account Profile" after clicking on the players name with x usually in red... then we blocked them and haven't had an issue since. I would STRONGLY suggest Rockstar put this in their options under "Disruptive Behavior" so that these things don't continue to cause people to quit and uninstall their game. roggek
2 options: 1. Play in defensive mode 2. Hide your online status in your profile in PSN And Rockstar never read these forums... Edited March 3 by roggek Ghost in The Machine

TheOriginalGunslinger
Semi-Auto Shotgun incendiary shells or the Bow with explosive arrows are usually my go to against trolls. Blocking them and joining a different session is my next choice. Edited March 3 by TheOriginalGunslinger Red Lynx 23

KiTTYReCkless
I don't know why people even try to instigate in RDO. There is no KD so what's the point? Usually if some dickwad attacks me unprovoked I go in game chat and question their sexuality and tell them that no one loves them before sending an explosive round their way and I ride off in defensive mode and/or swap sesh to a different part of the map and continue about my day. If they respond back via message on PSN in any threatening manner I report them in hopes Sony will ban them. I have gotten the message that their content was removed on a few different occasions. Use my strategy on pretty much every game I play. Feels great getting them hammered. I have learned to weaponize my Borderline personality and I can easily get under people's skin. I have zero filter and say some pretty heinous sh*t sometimes Edited May 14 by KiTTYReCkless RuningKikFukSlap, Nerfgoth, Dan390 and 1 other 2 1
SadieAdler
Hm I rarely come across trolls in RDO (it's nowhere near as toxic as the GTAO player base). When I do they can be particularly nasty though. If you 'parley' with players, they can still ram you with their horses and carriages by jumping off them just before they collide into you. And your horse isn't made invulnerable to damage unlike yourself for some odd reason. My friends and I will usually just find a new session though. I think the parley option should be expanded and last much longer. Edited May 24 by SadieAdler eighthdoctor
williamhcarlton
People sleep on parley. I have no idea why. Works fine to neutralize the troll while you move on with your life and finish whatever you were doing before you swap sessions or restart or whatever.
