Hi all,

Bit of a random question, but what dev team from Rockstar actually does the GTA Online updates? Is it a cross studio effort? I understand that updates to GTA typically take 6 - 12 months to plan + make, so it has to be a sizable team.

Ahh okay. Any specific studios? Currently I'd guess North's only working on the next GTA series, but who knows haha!

They no longer rely on specific studios to handle a single game. Take Rockstar Lincoln as an example. From all the inside talk and articles describing the workplace of Rockstar, the Lincoln studio is known to have the most QA devs.

 

Basically put, it's safe to say pretty much every project is handled by devs from multiple Rockstar studios.
