SA:MP crashes for no reason

whenever I try to connect to a server, it crashes, then the icon deletes itself, then when I try to reinstall it again, the installation process cancels itself out, I'm on windows 10 if that matters.

things I have tried:

  • deleting the settings file
  • deleting the whole SAMP folder in documents
  • updating drivers
  • deleting every trace of SAMP on my computer, then reinstalling
  • running the installer as admin

I don't know what the problem could be. I was gonna try posting this on the SAMP forums but I can't find the login or register button there so..... yeah.
