DexMacLeod Posted February 26 Share Posted February 26 In my home town we've got an indoor place that has a bunch of basketball courts, batting cages, a mini-golf course, an arcade, and a laser tag arena. Something like that would be cool. Maybe without the laser tag. With the basketball courts I'd like to see some actual games and not just mindlessly shooting hoops. Things like horse, lightning, and 21 would be cool. I'd also like to see golf return. More than one course would be cool. Also, some sort of parody of the Topgolf driving range. Really, any and every thing from the past games would be awesome. At the same time, I wouldn't be terribly disappointed if none of it returns. Racecarlock Posted February 27 Share Posted February 27 Track based racing. No, seriously. Look, I already have racing sims, but as great as they can be, all they simulate is, well, racing. Same goes for flight sims, now that I think about it. But GTA? Well, GTA more or less contains a whole world. And, well, I can just picture it now. I buy a car, I modify it for the track, and if I crash, it's not a matter of restarting the race in the simulator menu, no, now I have to pay to fix it. I mean, just look at this. I know it's in japan, shut up, not the point. The point is that there's a whole world beyond the track when it comes to racing, and even open world games like forza horizon don't really bother much with that stuff. I mean, forza horizon has customization and engine swaps and whatnot, but there's no real stakes to racing in that game. Hell, even sims like rfactor 2 and automobilista 2 and assetto corsa don't really have big stakes, and there aren't any characters. But imagine the experience of meeting someone like this in the game world, of learning about engines and turbos and tires and suspensions and all that junk. Imagine buying your own car and entering it in a race. And it's not just any car, it's one you bought after your first big heist. And now you're living a dream you might never have gotten a chance to live if it hadn't been for the criminal world. That is what GTA could be like to me. IDK why but I've always felt that the pimping side-mission looks kinda out-of-place and somewhat "out-of-character"-ish a bit, even for a heavily inconsistent character like CJ. I mean, you're skydiving between two airborne planes in one moment and in the next you're "supplying"... females. But I do agree with the car\bike salesman side-mission idea tho, those two were really fun to play back in LCS. Also I wouldn't mind if the AI was a bit better because the races were pretty easy in V.
