Stealing Air Freight From Yourself

I've noticed that, lately, when I source air freight cargo, I get the message that my organization has stolen cargo from my organization.  It counts the crate I sourced, but gives me a duplicate for "stealing" it.  On the computer in my hangar, it shows that I have two crates total, but the section that shows each type of crate only shows one.  If I sell it, it sells two crates.  Has anyone else noticed this lately?

Honestly the entire game seemed screwed, not just this - so many weird bugs and things going wrong or changing for no reason that it really feels like it is falling apart at the seams and can’t support itself and all the addons anymore. I am so hoping there has been serious rewriting behind the scenes for E&E to make it more stable cos playing at the moment is just a permanent ‘what is going to mess up next’ wait. At least this bug is funny and gets us extra stuff while half the rest do the opposite.

Yeah, it's a mess. I think that I quit during an Air-Freight steal mission, and it randomly gave me 10 animal materials crates into my hangar upon entering it in the next session

Same thing happening on pc for me. I just hope they won't count this as abusing or exploiting when i sell phanthom crates i hadn't sourced. I have 663 millions and i wouldn't want to risk my character for something that is their fault. 

Also there are frequent game invites from some random players, probably modders, but i don't see how they expect that other people will fall for their random invites.

It's on PS 4 also, I would probably stay away from it till they fix it. Cause they could turn around and wipe out your money cause it's R*.

Yea it's funny but not so when you have a lot to loose and zero understanding from R* support bot closing tickets automatically. I'm curious how long is this bug present in the game.

Yeah, this bug currently gives you a free crate of animal materials per source mission.

 

If you go to single player and back online, the crates will show up as normal in your hangar. Until then they are only counted when you sell all.

I mean on pc you get banned for just existing, you never know on there.

You can say that but it's R* we are talking about cause they can turn around and say you knew there was a bug but you kept running the missions so you did duplicate the box.

It's them and they make the rules in the end so keep running them if you want to.

True, but there is one difference here, although it's still R* and their sh*tty conduct towards their players, with air freight it's not like players go on their way to exploit getting 1x crate of animal material every time they source another crate, it's just happens while sourcing other crates and it will come to a point that you can't even source anything else or sell because it will be gradually filled with animal crates so you have to sell them either way to empty the hangar. For example right now i have 10x chems and 10x narcos and 14x animal which was just added to my hangar while sourcing those other 2 variations, tomorrow when i play it might be completely filled with animals taking 50% of my storage, the only thing left to do i sell to empty. Overall paranoia still stands even in this case, it's R* and they can wipe for any reason and if that happens we can't do anything about it.

Hate when I have to think "everything bad that could happen - it will happen to me!"  

... so a little scare-funny story on this subject of banning for crappy crates  

 

I already had over 40 crates in hangar from before this bonus week, so I did some crates runs to fill different stacks up to 10 and some sales this last 2-3 days and I had couple of this 'crate bug'.

 

Last night I load up game, went online... it took me some extra long time to join (so it's fishy from get go ), I spawn in my Arena and in session there was a guy lvl.2500+ killing everyone, I see people starting to leave one by one (sooo fishy is getting smelly ), I'm there just over 5 mins and still in arena... and BOOM, i'm falling down through floor in to nothingness (dont remember where is interior exactly)... I hit 'rock bottom' and then usual 'network error' type of message with kick to story game. I reconnect back to public session and I dont have option to become CEO or MC, and when I tried to get on Hangar computer I got message "This computer is currently blocked due to your recent behavior"  

... never had this one before, so scary part is that after you totally quit the game back to desktop, and then restart - you are still unable to access CEO/MC options and do any business .

Didn't even try to find solution, I left it and went to play other thing... this morning it works, I'm not banned

I think the reason cannot become a CEO/MC and not being able to access the computer is since there is some penalty system in place for when you mess up your CEO's sell mission (like blowing up the sell vehicle)

Maybe, not sure what are legit reasons for that message from Rockstar - but this one to me was done by modder/cheater for sure. I never do things like blowing up sell veh. or suicide to 'cheat' 

I did found this morning YT video how to fix it when modder crap your game like this, you have to do fresh game restart and go to Solo Game (one mode that nobody ever use, except maybe legit GTA racers for training sessions ) because that one kinda 'reset' your CEO/MC status as they are unavailable in there... or try to play next day 

 

But it was funny & bit scary when you have it like this in the middle of 'crate talk'

Yes, and anyone with a cheat menu can trigger this for you.

This happened to me when I was setting up the Casino Heist a few weeks ago. I collected heist equipment and then it says that I stole it (I mean technically I did steal it) but you know.

Just another way of showing how this game is broken and in need of a major overhaul/fix.
