Is it possible to have 2 different gta installations on 2 different steam accounts on the same system?

Before I open a new Steam account and buy another one - I want to ask...

Or there will be a conflict and I will need a special tool to help me to run the gta with the account I want?

You can use same installation. Just login to whichever acc you want. Unless idk you are trying to run both at the same time here, then  only with VMs on same PC.

No man, I want 2 different installations of the game each leading to a different gta user.

I intentionally phrased my question like this - that's exactly what I want. The question - if it is possible? I am sad to see that only one answered

Technically, yes, it's possible, but it would require a bit of messing around when option 1 (just logging out of Steam) is the far easier option and works fine, unless you are doing it so one account can use SP mods.

It will be safer to use 2 Windows user desktop accounts rather than trying this on one account, so you get separate "documents" settings folder. It is also safer/easier if you use a separate drive partition/letter, but should be possible to put it all on C if that's all you have.

Just log into desktop account #2, set up Steam and log in with Steam account #2 and set a different location for the Steam Library (Steam>Settings>Downloads>SteamLibraryFolders) on profile #2, then install GTA.

I have a copy of the game through Steam, but later bought the game through Rockstar Social Club, which is my current account and didn't link it to Steam.  Two accounts with different usernames on the same system.  If it has to be 2 Steam installations, then it appears to be more complicated but the answer to your question would be, yes.

What's the point of having two different, one is enough. If you are trying to have second installation for modding or whatever then you can just use same account as you already have and make a separate folder copy.

And both on the same Windows user desktop account? You don't change Windows user?

I have 4 GTA V accounts. I have Steam and Epic versions side by side (on the same desktop profile) on 2 of my PCs (one Win10 and one Win7), both are fine.

So yeah, Steam and RSW version can sit side by side too.

But you are asking to install 2 Steam versions, which is a different prospect, which is why I recommended doing it on multiple Windows profiles.
