"Health Armor Money -cheat" and Criminal Rating

OK so. There's the following bit of information lying around on the internets which to me is false:

Quote

GTA San Andreas players can lower their Criminal Ratings if they perform specific actions. Using cheats is a major way to lose points - each cheat activation loses ten.

The lowest possible score is entitled Cheater for that very reason. However, one exception is the Health and Armor cheat, which adds 40 points.

-Regards, sportskeeda

For context I stripped that whole thing, bolding is mine and that's the emphasis I want to focus on.

- First of all, the CHEAT doesn't add 40 points. I'd argue that it's the MONEY which adds some points, and not exactly 40 points, but 50 points. Since if you would acquire $250000 legitimately, each $5000 segment gives you a point, times 50 makes $250000. But if you get that money through the cheat, it gives the 50 points as it would, but then takes 10 points off due to "Cheat activated".

- Now, the whole $999999999 is worth 199999 points when acquired legitimately. If you'd cheat all that, that's what you get otherwise as well, but since each time you cheat, you also lose 10 points, and at the end you'd have 159999 points since $250000 times 4000 Cheat activated makes $999999999 and 4000 Cheat activated times minus 10 Criminal Rating makes minus 40000 Criminal Rating.

- But what if the cheat can't give you any cash money since you have it all maxed out? It does its effect of health and armor, and you simply lose 10 Criminal Rating. No added points for you.

THUS, THAT INFORMATION IN THE QUOTES, IS IN FACT, I'D SAY,  F A L S E.

Here's a quick video presentation for moar evidence proof. Done using the European v1.0 .exe, unpatched, using the original European disc release, with the DVD* in the DVD-drive of me Windows XP Professional OS'd PC, no moddings whatsoever used to have more legit-ness and potentially no errors**.

Yes, the video is in a 4:3 resolution as me game setting also is. Widescreen is overrated.

TL;DR - DOESN'T GIVE 40 POINTS, TAKES AWAY 10 POINTS

* = DVD. THE GAME DISC IS A DVD. I'VE SEEN PEOPLE CALLING IT A "CD" WHICH IS FALSE. III AND VICE CITY ARE IN DER CD FORMAT. SA IS A DVD. (Unless I'm not aware of such a release, but I doubt that.)

** = I once saw a video about SA where some guy thought that an entrance to the dam you go into in that one mission isn't present after it, which later turned out to be false, and the guy initially assumed it being there was the "all places unlocked" -mod he used and mentioned that one should always double check trivia without moddings to make sure it's correct.

Mistake in the first of the two notes at the very end + "legibility" changed to "legit-ness", though both sound fitting to me, eh
