If I buy a PS3 version of the game and link it to my Social Club, would I receive the 'returning player content' on my PC acc?

I found a post from 3 years ago of someone doing exactly that and it being a success, but I worry that things might've changed with PS3/X360 versions being effectively 'discontinued'...

That is a good question. If no one answers I may ask RS (you should too). BTW-I have a PS3 I bought at a yard sale an have yet to hook it up. It came with GTA I believe.

 

Side Note:

I'd be careful hooking any other account to your main PC account. I bought a copy of GTA around Xmas (it was $15 with a $10 discount on Epic-and that included the Criminal Pak). I installed it on another computer and made the mistake of loggging into my RS Account with the new account. Now it is screwed up. The new account loads with my old character (that I spent over a year crafting into level 350 with $30 million and owning almost everything I want).

After some research, I learned I have to contact RS and tell them to delete my new character from my RS Social account. I'm afraid they will mess up and delete my old, main character.
