dualii Posted February 6 Share Posted February 6 It's possible the next GTA won't be called GTA 6, and here's why this could be. In the past when R* has announced GTA's usually they just tell us the name of the next install whether it's GTA4 or GTA San Andreas. But I think R*'s vagueness about the name of the next game could indicate that the location is in the title of the name. Then the question becomes which city/location warrants the entire title by itself? Carcer City, Cottonmouth? Maybe it's an entire state and not just a city. There's been so much buzz and speculation about this game even before it's existence was official and almost everyone always referred to it as GTA VI, so I think it would be a mistake from the marketing point of view to call it anything else.
