Can't use Compact Assault Rifle while driving

I bought a compact AR and I used it from a boat but then I tried using it from a car the next day and it was gone.  I still have the rifle though, it's just not there when I cycled through in car.  I hid it using the MOC loadout customisation by accident and then undid it, now it shows under rifles but not in car.

The compact assault rifle cannot be used in cars, sadly. Just pistols and the micro SMG can be used in automobiles.

I think you can use the compact rifle while driving buses, just like you can use the sawn off shotgun, but yeah you cannot use this rifle while driving cars, clipping issues I think.

Apparently it works on bikes and boats but not cars.

The main weapons that can be used on bikes are the Compact Rifle and SMG Mk II, but there is the Compact Grenade Launcher as well.

 

If you're riding your favorite bike (health regeneration + increased damage) it's a pretty powerful combo.
