EDIT: DM me posts and threads to include in 2.0, I will include (nearly) anything!

 

Forgot to copy and paste text into TTS, but took screenshots first then had to hand write all the text, so that's why I didn't put as much effort in editing as in the first minute compared to the rest of the video. 

I did 15 of these before GTA V released, but they are unfortunately lost, deleted. I kept them in an unlisted playlist on a channel which I lost access too. But, they are no longer visible in the playlist!? Cheers if you remember them!

Yo wtf I didn't see MorsMutualInsurance's video up until now because I was working on this. He used the same reaction clip as me with the England fans when they scored against Wales, cool.

I wrote I'll be back and doing new thread sims when GTA 6 gets announced back on September 17 2013. Took them long enough.

So I noticed you took down the old videos. I fortunately did a lot of archiving in 2019, due to Machinima going mental. I have them. But would you be willing to re-upload/make them available again?

Having the old ones available again would be class, I'm willing to get them hosted on the GTANet server if need be for preservation purposes and if TH doesn't want to reupload them to his channel, we have space.

The weird thing is. I put them on that GTAHyena account that I created just to remove the simulators from my main channel when it got monetized. But, even on that channel I put them in a playlist where they were unlisted, but you could watch them in the playlist.

The thing is now, they are not in the playlist anymore!! So either youtube deleted my old channel or those videos or it's some glitch?

Anyway, I'd be appreciative if you could msg me a link to download them or just upload them yourself.

EDIT: Forgot to add I forgot the mail and password I used for that channel, so I definitely didn't remove them.

That would be @uNi who runs the GTAForums channel on Youtube I think. Anything works though, if TH doesn't mind reuploading them, be free to email them to him, or you can find a way to upload the files and send them to me as well so I can actually host them here instead of relying on Youtube.

Thanks! It's not really! I put little effort into it. I forgot to copy the texts to paste into TTS so I had to handwrite them.

And I forgot that I had to apply chroma keyer to all posts before doing the pan/crop animations. Because in Vegas you can't just copy paste an effect without losing everything that you did to the clip.

Anyway, I know now how to do it for the next one which will surely be much better! And I will look through more posts!

I'd be cool with reuploading them all in one video and do some new edits over them and remove some nasty posts that could get me a strike these days lol.

I've gotten them all (thanks @Len Lfc) and I'll be preserving them locally on a backup HDD, the GTANet server and a cloud location, but I suppose it would be more OG if you got them re-uploaded neatly, TH.  Shame Youtube is so stupid with the monetisation stuff nowadays.

Thanks mate! Ye, I made 2 big editing mistakes which meant I put in an extra 2 hours on editing that I shouldn't have, but I know now for next time.

@Len Lfc has an OneDrive with all of them! I've just uploaded them all to the GTANet server, won't be linking them just yet if you plan to reupload them all, also to reduce server strain if people decide to download it all at once.

I've DL'd it and I will start editing them together now and finish tomorrow! I won't be shy with chroma keying in clips and such.

EDIT: Wow, I'm honored this is a sticky thread. But, please unsticky it. This simulator doesn't deserve it. But, the next one will.  when I put in more effort and don't waste hours making simple editing mistakes that I haven't made since the 5.0 simulator.

Too humble. There's a reason people here regard these so highly. In fact, when it comes to internet memes, the quality not being great actually makes them better. As much as that may sound like a backhanded compliment, it's not.

Well, it depends. When there's a good punchline low effort can be enough. But, check out bluesboyjr's first 2 sims, or 9.0 and 14.0 where I put in more effort, it deffo makes a difference with a highlights comp of forum posts.

Yeah, I will use it for that. It's your decision mate. Maybe still keep it sticky until I upload the old simulators supercut with new edits tomorrow.

I wasn't here for the 2011-2013 days unfortunately. I do remember browsing the forums from time to time as a guest but I had never officially registered and participated. Looking forward to a new era. Such exciting times. I'd also love to see the GTA V Thread Simulator videos as well. I remember seeing them but not finishing all of them. I do remember that particular playlist but I forgot to save it.
