I checked the profiles like 6-7 months ago and they weren't private, you could see the last time they had been on GTAV was 7 years ago. Now they're all private and some are deleted.

oh, i don't mean directly for that particular "leak". i've seen this idea talked about here and there, and it just baffles me how people expect this. if the next game is as big as RDR2 in map size, then that'd be twice as much work to put the world in 80s style and then modern. if they'd do that, a lot of features/details could lack due to this. they better just focus on one main time

PS: It looks like a police/security badge or patch and a blood stain.

I'm just not sure if it's on a white shirt or something else.

 

PPS: It could be a sholder pad but it looks like it has straight angles so probably a notebook.

 

Preliminary Conclusion: It's looks like a notebook with a police logo and a bloodstain on one of the pages. Apparently being held by someone with a white glove. Could be part of concept art I guess?

I really hope gta 6 won't be in two time periods (unless if they kill off the main character last mission and 7 years later you play as his son like in red dead) but I just hope it's modern day 

 

Also I'm pretty sure that this will still be in the HD Universe I doubt they would change it

i agree. making a cohesive story, gameplay elements, parodies, gameplay loop, for one time period alone requires a strong vision. i hope they dont do a gimmick time period change... staying in one well made period is more than enough
