In a way its kind of smart. No fake leaker thought of it, so as not to give them any false "proof" of their legitimacy, they announced it in a way no one expected

Some people don't believe us when we say this happens every time, but yeah it happens every time 

 

You can be frustrated over any shortcomings Rockstar have had lately (Trilogy bugs, RDO neglect, modding situation) and still express your excitement for a new game. Their singleplayer worlds are unmatched and I'm hyped!

You are definitely right, GTAO is being separated as a standalone title which means that they are definitely just going to update the game engine and add the new MAP when VI eventually releases. It will be fun to see how they handle the characters tho? Do we get reset or do we continue? Will the toxic vehicles such as MK2's be removed?
