Btw how does the security and secrecy work at rockstar games? I heard they arent allowed to take phones in their work space and even sensors on the monitors that shuts down the pc when it detects a camera?

I dunno if that last bit is true, because there was a photographer going around the cubicles taking photos and that one person would have been responsible for an entire office blackout. :kekw:

There used to be images but the migration of the Develop magazine site to the MCV UK site caused their loss. I'm sure they're still reuploaded somewhere tho.

Ohh yeah now that you say it i remind one where we could see desks in some sort of oval arrangement and GTAV on screen

There's two theories:

1) There's an a extremely advanced AI controls the local network data and reads faces through high definition cameras places all over the building, capturing the person intent to do something.

2) The devs are adults with bills to pay and could not give less of a f*ck leaking stuff to you.

i have to admit all the latest talks about gta6 got me hyped again (a little bit)

but gta 5 (especially online) is putting a bitter taste on what gta 6 could be

worst case would be if they do a step backwards from what they did with rdr2 singleplayer, put more focus on the next online part of the game

gta 7 is probably another 10-15 years away (if there will be a gta 7), so we have to enjoy/suffer with what they plan to do with gta 6

i didnt enjoy gta 5 as much as i enjoyed older gta titles, and gta online was never really fun to play, my hype will probably increase and blow up when we are getting closer to the release date, but there will always this bitter taste

i hope r* can prove me wrong

Of course, but it needs to have features that will please the 80%, in a way that SA and VC did.

Multiple cities (even two), interiors, stronger storyline, IV's combat physics and dare I say it - a period setting - should do the trick.

GTAV is, by far, the most popular GTA by a ridiculously wide margin. It basically outsold every single game in the series within a couple of months from release. Even without GTAO, it still would've been the best selling GTA handily.

All of that just wouldn't happen unless your game was beloved by the overwhelming majority of the entire community. A few detractors on Forums, or Reddit, or Twitter, doesn't mean sh*t to Rockstar, when it comes down to the real world performance of a game.

So logo reveal and first trailer/game details August-October 2022 with Fall 2023 release date, to actually release September 2023-March 2024.

Have some god damn faith.

I don't really feel like Rockstar will show us anything about GTA VI this year ... I feel like Summer 2023 onwards is a better chance but we'll see.

My wish was to have some documentary of the development at Rockstar, like "Noclip - Video Game Documentaries". Indoors and with their heads behind them.

um post de notícias em outubro/novembro deste ano com algumas informações, ou talvez até mesmo algo como "...prepare para mais informações sobre nosso próximo título de gta em 2023!" + 1 captura de tela

So I just read this:

Quote

+ I don't get how a game as good as RDR2 and sells as well as it did just gets.. abandoned by it's developer.

- Resources. They are about to undertake one of the riskiest project of any developer to date. Transitioning all those GTAV players to GTA 6 is fraught with risk. f*cking that up will costs T2 dearly.

lol, I get the online transitioning part but calling it one of the riskiest projects to date?

If that's the case, then I wish they had shut their yap about working on the next GTA installment. If you're going to say something about the next big GTA title that millions of people want to know more about, you don't go and say "we're well underway" and then don't show anything for more than a year...

This is not really their riskiest project, more like their next biggest project but in the end what makes it for us maybe the riskiest is just the fact that they haven't released a GTA game in..(let me use Windows calculator..) 8 years; 9 months; 3 weeks and 3 days and a new game since (let me use Windows calculator again..) 3 years; 8 months; 2 weeks and 1 day. That doesn't help that their last game was enormous and filled to the brim with content, details and the most important part which is "care", you can feel RDR2 had a lot of love poured into it and they cared about it even tho it was no GTA, once again they pushed old hardware to their limits, anyway i really can't wait to see what they have in store, GTA is no RDR that's in terms of gameplay and such but in terms of scope or things to do especially knowing R* way of everytime doing better than they have done the next GTA will be as hard and as big as RDR2 in terms of details and things to do in it.

RDR2 is a completly different game than GTA V yet they are on the same engine so GTA VI can be completly different from RDR2 but still improve it, some obvious stuff will be kept other stuff not, i'm like all of you i can't wait to see that first tease or whatever they will say, feels weird to see them talking about it even though they don't really have announced it but at the same time for me it makes it easier to wait especially since for me GTAV now well i need a big break, so many years exploring and playing in this world aswell as knowing so many inside stuff and files to modify the game how i see fit, i really can't anymore and so i need a break from it, i'm not bored by this formula simply the one V has but at the same time it is the only game that has this feel even RDR2 doesn't have it but it still has one which is why for me R* are the best, yeah there's still no GTA after 8 years but GTA V still has that GTA feel that no other game has even another game made by them but at least this game has something that adds to it something unique that makes me play it and not others and pretty sure VI will have the same feel of uniqueness but not the same feel at the same time, it will be a GTA but not a GTA V.5 but really a GTA VI (or whatever the name is)

For me something will happen this year, even if it's the 31st December 2022 something will happen, two times they said something about it, they acknowledged it and now clearly said a bit of how things are going on, first time they said we'll hear stuff soon or keep in touch bla bla and we got the second mention recently where they're also saying keep in touch so for me it's sure we'll get something and by something i mean something that will slap
