What do you all think, what would marketing campaign look like if Rockstar at some point would really be able to announce the game and release it within 12 months? Let's say GTA VI would be revealed this fall and released in October/November next year?

I really don't think Rockstar needs to put a lots of efforts to advertise one of the most awaited videogame in the world

Once Rockstar will announce next GTA previews will start appearing at some point between reveal and release.

two to three tweets saying nothing but ''next grand theft auto title'' will do the magic, it's not 2000s anymore. Traffic is on R*s side like they always wanted it since a long time

I don't know why, but I really dislike Schreier. His "leaks" are worth nothing and all he does is piss over every speculation there is by just denying it

Best to keep expectations down and simp go off recent history with V & RDR 2 , two years after the first trailer/reveal with no real concrete marketing until the final 6-7 months before launch??? lol

As for GTA IV protagonists, my prediction is that Luis Lopez will have a cameo or something in GTA VI. Rockstar will intentionally not put Niko in VI just to troll everyone

I really don't want them putting in protagonists from previous games "just so they would be there". Unless there is a VERY good reason to have them reappear in the game, I wouldn't want to see any one of them again. They've done Johnny dirty already, leave the rest be.

Maybe if you're a kid, otherwise not really, especially if you work in a big company and you have to keep your mouth shut pretty much everyday

Didn't Schreier already say that everything that he has heard lines up with Henderson and Henderson said there are two main characters, male and female

Well, I definitely don't want any returning protagonists to get the Johnny treatment . Nah, I actually meant they will definitely appear one way or another. It could be a story mission, optional side-mission, random encounter/event, or maybe even some easter-egg or cameo in the form of like a TV news report.

The only character I'd like to see return would be Michael, but only if the game takes place in the 80's and it's a random encounter. Have him steal our character's wallet as a young thief and then we'll have to get it back or something like that.

I'm honest with you all ... an imminent Bully 2 reveal instead of GTA VI would have me ecstatic and all over the moon.

 

I'm currently replaying Bully and it is so wonderful.

The most important thing for this game: mod support like gta v. 

The potential for mods in vice city is huge

That's as far as it should go, really. If you really want characters to return in a more prominent fashion, I'm sorry, but that is just bad taste in regards of storytelling. It didn't work well in GTA 5 and Online, and it won't in GTA 6.

Lol remember when i said almost 2 years ago that i would love a brother-sister story? On opposite sides of the law?

2 is an interesting number. 

If we got 2 protags i assume that they have to be close/tied.

And that the entire plot would be about their relationship.

We'll see. It could be 4 for all we know. Or even one!

Which characters you do NOT want to see in GTA 6? 

For me, it would be Franklin, he's already too established in San Andreas to just pop in Vice City
