what do we know so far? is that E&E photo of a suburban house real?
is it going to be settled in the past or today? (even maybe the future)

map size? cars? guns? gameplay mechanics? is it going to have elements from red dead, like storing your weapons in ur car trunk? will we be able to nick stuff from the glovebox of cars? will we have a reputation system, can we get fat? slim? hit the gym? tune cars?, dating? phone? (and if is set in the past no internet) what about online, will they get rid of the futuristic stuff?

To be honest I'm so shocked, I never would have expected an announcement in February 2022 lmaoo.

Imagine what's gonna happen when the first trailer drops. The amount of new people/forumers!

 

It's crazy how they just... Announced the game.

 

And it's not just a statement.

They know people expect a trailer.

They know Vi is on everyones radar.

Today February the 4th marks the beginning of Gta Vis marketing cycle.

 

I think todays announcement is like Gta Vs first announcement trailer marketing phase.

 

If you guys remember they announced V with a trailer. Then stayed silent for almost a year. Then they released a second trailer(s) with a release date.

They delayed the game sure but we got a release date at the second trailer.

Phase 2.

Phase 1 was the first trailer.

Phase 2 was the release date announcement...

 

If my theory is correct we are on the phase 1 period with todays announcement.

When phase 2 rolls out they will release the trailer AND give a release date (it's probably gonna be delayed as always). 

This time though will be different...

The release date will be 1 year from the first trailer, meaning smaller marketing cycle.

 

 

TLDR: Todays Gta Vi announcement was the OFFICIAL Gta Vi announcement. Count 2 years from now and (if we don't get crazy delays) we WILL be playing the game March 2024.

You said you had some Bully 2 news. Anything new on that front?

I doubt we'll get it anytime soon. At least not untill Vi releases.

I think Bully 2 would be great as a stock gap or game after GTA 6. Maybe not as big as RDR 2 or GTA VI, but still a moderately sized game, and bigger than the OG game.

The development shall ramp up this year, once Rockstar is done with E&E. The next title always kept being mentioned last year in terms of upcoming projects, so most of Rockstar likely shifted into working on GTA6.

Ngl that is kind of weird. It's like GTA VI isn't as important as Online lmao. Yet again, it could just be a little end-of-news hype, like what Nintendo does, they do the biggest news at the end of the newsfeed, even if it is just saying "This exists."
