i don't know if this idea has been thought of but i thought it would be cool to share in case it hadn't. if gta 6 is in vice city. and we will be able to visit parts of the Caribbean. wasn't there a leak that said we would go to cuba? what if we can find the ship that arthur and the gang sailed on after the lemoyne bank robbery in rdr2. i was replaying the visiting hours mission yesterday. and arthur mentioned that the money was at the bottom of the ocean. and i remember how gta 5 had a few underwater easter eggs. so we should be able to find the ship and take the money and gold that was abandoned. and to top it off. we should be able to unlock the guarma crews bank heist outfits. because they aren't wearing them on guarma. so we should be able to wear arthur dutch micah javier and bills outfits. i think that would make for an amazing red dead redemption 2 easter egg. and also maybe they could add guarma itself. or at least part of it. like the old fort or the town. and we could see what happened to the island after the gang left.

Sorry for necro-ing a bit, but this guy clearly suffers from some sort of psychotic behaviour disorder or schizophrenia. He thinks he is about to become a billionaire because he has single handedly built GTA VI for Rockstar. Probably best not to indulge his behaviour and delusions.

Yep. He used to post some really, really weird stuff here on GTAForums too, very long, multi-paragraph, nearly completely unintelligible stories all surrounding Rockstar or even Everywhere/Build A Rocket Boy. From time to time he still registers duplicate accounts here to post that kind of stuff. There is definitely a severe issue there.

Early work like concepts and drafts of the story/setting were probably done between 2013-2014.

Some production started between 2014-2016.

Shift more resources between 2016-2018 to get RDR2 out by 2018.

Full production from 2018 until now and will continue for a few years, probably 2 more.

It was always about that really. Just look at Rockstar's announcement schedule for the last 10-15 years. Almost every single Rockstar developed game was properly revealed right before a Take Two earnings call.

 

RDR1 was announced just a month before the Q1 2010 hearing, and the debut trailer only 19 days before the Q2 2009 hearing. Max Payne 3 was also announced in the same quarter.

GTAV's first trailer was revealed only a week before the Q2 2012 hearing. Same again with RDR2, a reveal trailer mere 2 weeks before the Q2 2017 hearing.

The major exception was GTAIV, which was (famously) revealed at E3 2006... due to an exclusive financial deal with Microsoft, so muneh again.

 

So, at the end of the day, Rockstar is not that unpredictable. It's just that they like the secrecy, and they're extremely low key most of the time, so nobody can really anticipate exactly when an announcement is coming (like the VI tease back in February), but when you look back, it all makes perfect business sense.

I know TV show contents for the next GTA were being created back around 2015-2016 after someone, a fan (very close with rockstar games) slipped and talked a bit about being in a new RSR tv show in the GTA Universe before realizing they weren't allowed too, in a PS4 party chat long ago. At that time though, I doubted it.

Something i'd partially share here, now given the fact the next GTA is in the works.

That's how you try to debunk something. If you've heard there are certain people in the know - be it Jason, Tom and another couple of people - you let that rumour *fire up* as much as possible. Sooner or later *egos* will rise up and they'll inevitably say something. I think that trying to smother a rumour doesn't work quite well and ends up prolonging it's stay.

 

So basically you want something like what happened before with Jason acknowledging Tom's leaks - even P replied to him.

 

In conclusion, bring on the battle of the leakers!

Nah, now the "leakers" will purposefully not say the game has 3 protagonists to make it seem legit and corroborate with what Jason said, and I bet there'll be also people saying "Jason said there won't be 3 protagonists, this leak says 2, so it must be true!!!"

The problem is, most leaks already talk about 2 protagonists though.

After all, one of the oldest leaks, which I remember reading way back in 2015, did say the game will have a male and a female protagonist... played by Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes .

I keep tabs on other leaks but I only *focus* on 3 or 4 people: Two of them are more open to give us fish but even then they still fear "Judgement Day" (Jason and Tom); Another one is less known to the public and already proved with GTA Trilogy DE that he knows something but he's too scared to share more - I would be too lol (Insider_JK); Only one is the real deal but he writes in riddles and isn't a fan of spoilers so he wants people to go fishing.

 

In terms of people that have more explicit leaks this is the deck:

 

Jason Schreier is the "King",
Tom Henderson is the "Jack" and
Insider_JK is the "Joker" / "Wild card".

 

We need a goddam ACE!

 

Leaking is a flush out game - pun intended - once you have a core with a couple of trusted people focus on them and try to make indirect connections between other leaks. If it's wrong, it's wrong. It's part of the game.

Agreed. V has shown multiple protags was a mistake. I think Rockstar realise this but also feel multiple protags allows more appeal and so I could see them compromising on two.
