I did capture over hundreds of images from RDR2 myself, but most of them are sitting on my PS4 hard drive and I'm too lazy to copy them to my PC, let alone upload to Imgur or Lensdump.

My mistake lol, but you're right, it's annoying to send screenshots to the PC, then to Imgur and finally here, that's why I rarely do it.

Being completely honest, how does everyone feel about GTA 6 most likely being a modern day setting, for me personally I am actually glad it is. I know most people want an 80s setting or whatever but it gives rockstar complete freedom for Online if it's set in Modern times

we are talking about the same company that did it let's go to the february newswire i think they said they want to outdo themselves

Weather system, flying through the clouds would be amazing. That iconic hot air balloon from RDR2 still blows me away, just makes me wonder how much better it'll even be in Vi.

Probably another bug/glitch but it's strange that hundreds of web developers at Rockstar make such simple mistakes.

But it is weird that Rockstar frequently have website issues. Not to come across toxic or whatever. But I never see such issues from any other studio. It's really weird.

Just investigated the problem by using chrome developer tool. There are two errors: “Failed to load resource” , “Module ./animations does not exist in container”

Twitter is also having issues and Akamai reported several issues with their CDN's and edge servers today, I think it's related and not up to R*. It also does happen to others, you're probably just not paying as much attention. Even if it is R*, bad days/weeks definitely exist with deployments.

Not that uncommon tbh. I mean, I couldn't browse the ESO forums for a few months cause they took ages to fix an issue lol.

 

You don't notice how common these sites have blips unless you or people you interact with are frequently checking them, which is what happens here.

 

The hardware that runs the internet is always breaking, it's only really the biggest sites out there that can give the impression that it's not cause they have four billion servers across the world but even then you still see things like Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tiktok etc go down now and then.

My thing with R*, is that when they premiere their titles the site ends up crashing. It started with 4. And don’t seem to learn on a possible fix for that. Of course it’s the inter webs, they can’t control the traffic that comes through. I’m sure there’s a way. I just wanna hop the hell on and experience the hype of a premiere in real time. Not 10 minutes after.

It's not worth it to spend a sh*t ton of money on servers when you only need them for 10 minutes. Same reason the Steam store goes down at the start of every seasonal sale, Valve could fix it but ultimately it's not worth it cause it'll be fine in an hour.

 

There's a reason all publishers upload to YouTube/Twitch etc for trailers and reveals, cause those sites are built for that level of traffic.
