God, imagine if Sony f*cked up like in 2013 and just made preloads of GTA V available too early which led to people try to crack the files and spoil the game's story via audio files that people could reverse engineer and listen to. So, so many takedowns were done that week, I think T2 worked 24 hours for that week lmao. They even had to post an apology: https://blog.playstation.com/archive/2013/08/24/grand-theft-auto-v-update/

He has a point, but that final part is what made me laugh. I never played Quantic Dream, it's just the fact that he casually says they should throw storylines out of GTA and leave it to other games, even though the storylines and characters in GTA games are some of the best-written in the entire gaming industry.

I don't know how many DLCs we'll get until VI releases but I wonder if they could connect to VI, for example, Duggan and El Rubio are antagonists that are still alive. Maybe they will get killed in VI? (I hope that's the fate of Moodyman and Sessanta at least)

Or maybe the events of Online, like the Pacific Standard Job, Rooftop Rumble, the Dre contract will be referenced in VI

I agree with the car looking more damaged, but we should still be able to use the car until it is completely totaled. You have to keep thinking about the actual gameplay with these things. in the long run, it would get old pretty fast whenever you crash hard and you need to steal a new car. Doing a chase, but you bump into a railing? welp.. and i guess the slightest drops will make you explode? like it kinda does already in gta 5..

 

i have always disliked that. now i can't crash my car in fun ways without exploding.. it ruins the fun in a ton of ways when you make the game more "realistic"...

I always think with the technology we have, just work it into the game as a new feature. Make things realistic but have the option to build real off road and stunt vehicles that can handle this kind of driving. You could even have the option of building an off road vehicle with a “sleeper” body so that it looked like a regular car at a glance. That’s why I don’t understand Take Two - the possibilities are endless and they could still have their stupid shark cards.  They think if it’s good game instead of frustrating they’re not maximizing profits.

is it me or are all these early releases the fault of sony and playstation happened with gtav and now with gta trilogy

The GTA Trilogy was just a small mishap with timezones, GTA V was different. They actually launched the game's preloads almost an entire month before release, which allowed people to find the download URL for the preload file so you could have it on your PC too, and well, it all started from there.
