I really dislike how Bethesda does their reveals. Years and years before the game even has a playable build sometimes - TES VI was announced as a CGI trailer and it's been implied they don't have much done yet, Starfield they already had *something* but it was still very very early days. Their best reveal was Fallout 4.

Hellblade at least already has game footage and proper trailers and stuff. Bet we're seeing more at the Xbox Showcase.

It's easy to wait. Just play other games, watch other movies/shows, follow sports, etc... Best advice is just... grow up. You naturally get more patience, through experience.

Rockstar could take another 10 years to reveal this game and there’d still be people on here going let them take their time I don’t want a rushed game.

 

Its been nearly 4 years since RDR2 released and they are yet to announce another game. If they don’t announce it this year it’s getting a bit ridiculous tbh. That’s not being impatient it’s being honest.

Rockstar should do more of this, showcasing how they do the behind scenes and all that. Would be interesting to see the mocap of GTA V, especially RDR 2 with the amount of dialogue it had. Could be nice things to see while waiting for their next releases. They don't have to be secretive all the time y'know.

Stylistically I guess  

To me it was the sheer overload of information that was made available at once about the game, the way it was presented and teased, how they managed to reveal two projects at once (Fallout Shelter) and then the banger with the release date being the same year. I don't think many E3 game reveals can beat this one in certain aspects. It wouldn't work for a game as mystical as a R* game IMO, it would kinda ruin the magic (secrecy is part of it ) but it's still one of my favourite E3 presentations ever.

Their single player games are absolutely amazing but the company itself lost a lot of shine for me with the whole cancelling of single player DLC to recycle assets back into GTAO and focus their attention there.  I completely get it from a business standpoint but the extra salt in the wound for me was "Expanded and Enhanced", it would have cost them nothing to allow the casino and some other stuff into the single player game but they went out of their way to block it all, not even the new vehicles or weapons... that was where i thought "f*ck you guys".  I'm seriously concerned about how much content they're currently carving away from GTA 6 to put some extra sparkle in the next iteration of GTAO.

I strongly believe this is not going to happen. GTA V have an arcade car handling on purpose, that was a game design choice due to the backlash that GTA IV's car handling had at the time, and since GTA V was a big success in basic every way, I don't think they're going to try something so different from it.

 

I'm personally expecting something just like GTA V, but polished and improved (in both fun and technical aspects).

It's actually quite old, these videos have been around for a long, long time. I have more of them saved. It's just most don't know about them, and they aren't overly popular.

Sadly, I think this is going to be true in the end. Imo best-case scenario would be a mix between V and IV's driving - make the steering easier like in GTA V, but also make the cars have some actual weight to them.

 

In GTA IV everything felt like it had some weight to it, the cars, guns (especially with the gun sounds), the NPCs, etc. In GTA V everything feels like it weighs the same to me for some reason.

Yeah, a lot of that is from the old Rockstar North website. Not 100% of the content is preserved but you can browse a lot of it here!

Nah, I think we'll have a Summer update. They could probably still push a GTA VI announcement between the two DLC's
