Dude just check the history of their major announcements since GTA V (as far as I’ve been paying attention)  , but they’re not random as everyone makes it out to be it’s always been methods behind they’re announcements like before a take two investor call  , not some random Monday just because they’re bored at the office

Not to brag, like but you're preaching to the choir. I'm the one that basically predicted we wouldn't see an announcement until October 2022, or October 2021 at the earliest, back in 2019 (pre pandemic)

Doubt we'll even get BeamNG quality let alone higher. two reason:
BeamNG physics are already quite heavy on the performance side of things. You need quite a powerful PC to run it smoothly with just a few cars. I cant see them doing that or above with a whole GTA game ontop
I dont really want to have to change my car every time i hit a small rock, and seeing how much players crash in gta, i feel like repeatedly having to get a new car everytime you crash would not be a very fun gameplay loop

Not VI related but i remember this "leak" for GTA IV that this woman walking down the street with a f*cking flail in her hand lol. The 2000's were a wild time for sure

I wouldn't mind playing that tbh, always wanted to smash sh*t up with a flail in these games anyway. Surprised we haven't got one at all in either of the GTA games come to think of it even though there's been crazier weapons like flamethrowers and katanas.

R* simply said "we're on it", in order to keep the players who were pissed over the DE, and shareholders "happy"

and of course I was sayin that with the BENZ around, the structure and oversight was there to get sh*t done (ask DAN, he said so himself at this award speech)

and now the benz isn't around, so it will take longer to make sense of the chaos of code.

I'm really glad, that Rockstar doesn't rush to reveal GTA VI, I'm more than tired of publishers/developers annoucing their games way too early. I mean look at Star Wars: Eclipse, it's rumored, that it will be released in 2028, I mean WTF? Same goes for Fable, that was announced back in 2020 and Starfield which was teased back in 2018 lmao. How about Hellblade II? Also announced way, way too early.

For me, Rockstar is still the best company, despite everything, it does not sell smoke like many
