They're going to remake Resident Evil 4. One of the greatest games of all time. I know the RE3 remake wasn't that special but the RE2 was dope. How are you guys not excited for that?

I am really excited about that. It is one of my favorite games of all time. Tested on Quest 2, and it was mind blowing, not gonna lie. Seeing in new generation, it is just perfect!

I don't think there's any possibility of that happening .

 

Just look at the recent content updates for GTAO, and how much closer to classic GTA they've been compared to the military/sci-fi stuff from 2017-'18.

From the Doomsday Heist, Gunrunning, Smuggler's Run, After Hours (mainly for the Mk II), Arena War to Diamond Casino & Resort, Casino Heist, Cayo Perico Heist, Los Santos Tuners and The Contract.

 

Back then, Rockstar practically threw every single thing they came up with in the game. Doomsday Heist was refurbished SP DLC content, practically non canon regardless. Arena War was basically Thunderdome. Some of the ideas were good, but many sucked too and significantly worsened the game balance, an issue which still plagues the game. They found their groove yet again in 2019, and since then the updates have been decent to good to my taste, so here's hope the upcoming game balance update actually does something.

But I just don't understand why R* is not releasing GTA Trilogy DE on steam, maybe they are afraid of negative reviews and GSG is working on updates?

+ I'm sure R* launcher can't handle day1 release on PC so I guess they will release it day1 on steam!

All of my friends are in steam and I chat with them / share screenshots and artworks with community / share my youtube links / ETC there!

I haven’t played much since After Hours.  I loved flying aircraft until the Mk II came out and then eventually went over to War Thunder.  Have things gotten any better or more balanced? I think the best thing they could do with VI is balance the game so that each vehicle has strengths and weaknesses, and keep the content grounded in reality. If they really want laser guns or sci fi stuff it should exist as virtual reality ‘game within a game’ type thing.
 

Like your character could buy a Degenatron 8000 VR and they could add the ridiculous content that way. It would actually be cool because they could bring a lot of the lesser known game folklore to life in the right context. That way it wouldn’t interfere with the feel of the rest of the game.  And they could allow shark cards for instant purchase which would make the Zelnicks happy or allow you to run businesses for a cool thing to work for.

I'm also using Steam but what can you do if Rockstars games force the R* launcher to start whenever you boot up a game from them through Steam.

When you launch a R* game from steam It automatically logins you in your R* account! it's not noticeable!

When you've been through that, nothing can really phase you anymore.

 

In fact, it hardens you for the future. When GTA VI is officially announced, it will be even worse. The community will be eagerly awaiting news from Rockstar, but nothing will come, for months. Plus you get more patient as you get older. 

Besides, I said October 2022 in February 2019, with the possibility of it being October 2021. So, I'm still waiting for October. Anything before then is a bonus. The State of Play was fine, though. The official announcement of the poorly kept secret RE4 remake was nice to see. Stray looks very cool. And the update to Horizon Forbidden West which fixed the honestly quite poor visuals in Performance Mode is very welcome. It's just a shame I've already platinumed that game and won't be playing it again for a while

 

You know I've been playing these games for a lot of years and made it through GTA V's Info drought. If you want my advice, give this sh*t up.

Well, money making has gotten far far easier now even for a solo player, and since 2019 most of the good content can be played solo (Casino Heist being the big exception where you need at least 1 more player), and the quality is way better than 2017-'18 era updates, in my opinion.

 

Too bad the public lobbies are still a sh*tshow for the most part. There is a signal jammer upgrade for specific vehicles to negate any kind of lock on from enemies, but combat is still woefully unbalanced. A balancing patch is supposed to come with the summer update, but we still don't know what it will actually change.
