Heard from reliable friends months ago that the deadline was a Holiday 2023 release (Oct - Dec), but can always slip into early 2024. Of course that's months old information, could have changed by now

The GTAO update being medium-sized. RDO development put on hold. Potential remasters shelved.   Rockstar is going all in to make sure GTA6 doesn't slip up into 2025/2026.

hmm since state of play is in 30 minutes lets talk about some speculation.

I think we might see GTA V in VR or RDR2 on current gen consoles.

What do you think guys?

None of the games spoke to me, except for Stray, which I know comes to PC eventually, so I will definitely try that.

I mean it was big if you're into Final Fantasy that was a big huge announcement and we're happy for Final fantasy fans. Congratulations to all the final fantasy fans out there finally get a new game in their franchise. I am not a Final Fantasy fan.

I thought it was a decent state of play, people should really manage their expectations. They said it would be focused on PS VR2 and 3rd party and I think there were some interesting games. Of course, if you view it as a replacement for Sony's E3 conference, then it is a major disappointment, but that's not what it was. They are probably going to have a larger showcase later in summer or fall which will include 1st party games.

They didn't have any first party stuff like God of War either, only Spider-Man so they might reveal stuff at the actual Summer Games Fest with Geoff too.

the original Street Fighter was released in 1987, so it's taken much longer for that franchise to reach VI.

 

God help me if GTA VI goes down the anime stupid helmets and sh*t flashing everywhere path, i'll be done.

Street Fighter 2 was like the GTA V of its time. There were a billion versions and re-releases before moving to 3.

They're going to remake Resident Evil 4. One of the greatest games of all time. I know the RE3 remake wasn't that special but the RE2 was dope. How are you guys not excited for that?

Speaking for myself. I'm not into those types of games. I like open worlds and I like western games. Japanese games don't really interest me.
