PS4 Pro & Xbox One X prove that consumers will buy it. And it allowed Microsoft & Sony to still sell consoles at the (largely) same price point, without having one console on sale for cheaper. I'm not saying it will happen again. But rather that it won't be a shock if it happens. There's always something that can be improved with consoles. And this generation may last even longer than the previous 8 & 7 years of the 360/PS3 & X1/PS4. PS5 Pro in 2025 wouldn't surprise me.

Pro versions of both consoles are an inevitably. They're businesses and it would be leaving money on the table at that point (as they'll likely be turning profits on the consoles by then), and also because the console industry is slowly becoming an in iterative industry and not a generational one. I'll personally be surprised if we don't see at least two Pro versions of both the PS5 and Xbox Series before we see a PS6 or Xbox Series 2 (or w/e they would call it. I'm not even sure we'll see a Playstation 6/XS2 tbh, or at least, the generational jump probably won't be anything like we traditionally see.

Microsoft or Sony shows up to Rockstar with buckets full of money and pays for an exclusive smaller GTA. Like the stories games or EFLC and Agent lmaoo

Rockstar really dropped their game that far or maybe there's actually something to it ? 

I know that Alaska, New Mexico, and New Jersey all have standard issued Yellow License Plates. New York's looks yellow but is considered Gold to their DOT. Also in 1956, California's standard plate was Yellow. So those are all things.

That Character was later spotted stealing something in an Online mission a few years ago. I remembered his face, but now forget the DLC it was apart of. 1,000% Certain.

 

Edit: Found the mission where Derrick appears online. He's the thief walking away with Dixon's bag. Safe to say that he's dead in the gta Universe after 2018-19. Start video at 1:10

I already see myself ordering that PS5 Pro together with GTA VI's Special Edition just like I bought the PS4 Pro together with RDR2's Special Edition.

Playing the devil's advocate, but the plate numbers are not actually identical. 

Is there any list of all plate numbers in GTAV, or is it just randomly generated?

Rockstar should focus on making HD versions of Vice City, San Fierro and Las Venturas first, plus some brand new locations would be great too. Liberty has way too many games already.

 

I'd rather take a N.Y. Noire set in the 70s rather than a GTA. A private detective lead, branching storyline with choice and consequence would make the game much more flexible plot and gameplay wise. Your actions will determine how honest or crooked you are. Imagine a case where your objective is to bust a group of bank robbers, where you have an option to collect incriminating evidence and send an anonymous tip to cops, but instead you try and join their team, gain their trust doing a few odd jobs here and there, and backstab them during or after the robbery to steal the cash. Depending on what approach you take you'll face different consequences in the long run.

 

Seeing how they ported L.A. Noire to last gen consoles, and even made a V.R. version of it makes me wonder if they have some plan to reboot that IP in future. I believe it has a lot of potential which went untapped in the first game. You can easily think about many more sequels too, from 70s N.Y. to 60s San Francisco to 80s Miami to 70s Las Vegas and so on.
