With all due respect, of course. It's just weird seeing people set expectations so high.

The thing is the chance isn't even tonight, the conferences never ever have anything interesting other than the PDF's everyone will be overanalysing to look at the tables and numbers, which could be interesting but that's it, not conclusive. Any chance of anything today would be right now, this afternoon, before the conference, to help with T2's stock, and so far nothing so ummm  

 

Also, we've been in this loop with every single investor conference for 11-15 years now (incl. GTA IV) so...

I don't think R* single-player is dead lol. I'm guessing they might have a perpetually updated Online at some point but they will keep making SP experiences for the foreseeable at least, and probably adding those maps to that potential new GTAO.

GTA 5 didn't even get the 3 years rule, it was probably being hated on even before its release when gameplays started being leaked, I remember people crying over missing grass on the PS3 and 360 versions when those leaked gameplays started coming out, on RDR2's case it was because the bow was clipping through Arthur's hat in one of the leaks, but it didn't get nearly as much hate though, people was mostly impressed by them, especially when they saw Saint Denis for the first time in one of them.

Not a single Rockstar developed game is truly divisive or hated in any possible way. The fanbase is way too large with very diverse tastes to for anything like that to ever happen. And for the same reason there'll never be a Rockstar game that is universally loved, there'll always be a vocal part of fanbase trying to take a particular game down no matter what. Same was true back in 3D era, same in HD era and same will be true for whatever potential UHD, VR era they create in future.

 

Even the so called most divisive GTA , that being IV sold over 32m copies by 2015-'16, possibly close 35-40m by now. Every company would love to have a divisive game that's both critically acclaimed and commercially successful to that extent.

Do you people think we'll see Niko or Luis in GTA 6? I think it's really possible for us to see Luis at least in a nightclub or something, even though I think the protagonist himself will be a more serious guy and not too much into this stuff, even if he is younger in his 20's or 30's, a realist like Franklin but with way more screen time of course.

I'd prefer to see Niko than Luis obviously, at least he is way older now and can be voiced by someone else without feeling off, plus his english would have improved a lot as well, giving even more strenght to this theory.

Holy mother of god! I only managed to a take a screenshot of Los Santos before Rockstar banned me. Looks like the game is set in 2013.
