The milk rain happens a lot in Big Valley, both Grizzlies West and Grizzlies East (when not on the snow mountains of course) and Roanoke Ridge, at least it isn't as noticeable like in the GTA The Trilogy and you can't really notice it easily during the night, but it's definitely there. If you use Eagle Eye, Dead Eye or open the weapons wheel you can see that the rain droplets are the same of when it's a normal rain, but something about its normal fast dropping speed bugs it and gives it that appearance when the temperature is at 0ºC or lower.

I don't usually sh*t on RDR2, it's my favorite Rockstar game, but I gotta be honest about its mistakes too, especially considering I'm one of the users with more experience on it on GTAForums, however it does way more things right than wrong.

What I’d like to know is if R* actually intented to call GTA6 something else but because of all hype the last couple years they ended up just changing it to GTA6/VI.

I think they always planned it to be called GTA 6 to end the GTA HD Era Trilogy, but the next GTA after 6 will probably be a reboot or a brand new universe at least.

For sometime I thought the exact opposite but at this point 90% of the marketing was done by the speculators so they could really just announce it as [GTA VI (6)] Six

I think this time it's probably gonna be GTA VI, next time however who really knows, they could reboot it. There's a lot of hype and pre-prepared SEO for the GTA VI title already over the years, perfect title to use.

We will not hear nothing about GTA VI. That is for sure.

Technically GTA IV was a reboot of the franchise but Rockstar still called it IV nonetheless so I don't see any reason not to call it VI even if it has some significant changes in the formula. Even for future titles VII or VIII could work just fine but at current pace it'll take literal decades until we even approach that territory so it's a non issue right now. 

 

The next big thing in gaming will probably be VR and GTA, both single player/multi player will certainly take advantage of it when the time comes which means another potential rework of the formula. I'm actually curious to see how San Andreas is adapted to VR since it was not really intended for that kind of experience.

Yea the only chance was if R* announced something before I think.

 

We already knew it's in development which they repeat but nothing more. Take-Two doesn't usually spoil any R* reveals.

As I mentioned there's a better chance of like a general "upcoming things" (GTAO etc) article like they've done in the past, but even then... they've done that like once last year, and the other time before that wasn't even in May I think. If R* don't do anything, we can only see what T2 is expecting for the future in their numbers and slides, and it won't be named.

 

The only time T2 has referred to an upcoming project was in May 2016's conference call where they said Rockstar were working on "future projects", which obviously ended up being RDR2 revealed in October.

 

So there really isn't a reason to be expecting any Newswires with a 100% certainty.
