I think this game should take place in an HD Universe version of Vice City, just like how IV was Liberty City, and V was Los Santos.

Nowadays I think it is really hard to impress folk with a game or let's say to create magical gaming experiences that have not been done before. As far as I'm concerned this is what will make games like GTA3, Bully, IV and RDR1 forever special to me. They stood out from the crowd back in the day (and still to this day are one of the most enjoyable and fun gaming experiences I have ever had!) and were so ahead of its time that whenever I look back at how I felt during the pre-release anticipation period for these games it instantly puts a smile on my faces and gives me a warm feeling. I am currently doing another playthrough of both GTA IV (on PC) and RDR1 (started with that one yesterday after setting up my big old fat PS3 ) and I must say that RDR1 specifically impresses me so much still ... it kind of makes me sad almost because I know that unique and never-been-done-before experiences like this (RDR1) might not happen ever again?

 

Here's hoping that GTA VI is another one of these magical gaming moments (alá GTA3, Bully, GTA IV and RDR1) but I'm honest, RDR2 never reached the heights or made me feel anything like I felt playing RDR1 for me and while a great experience I feel like it wasn't a game??? It may sound weird but it felt like an interactive movie more than a game and well, I said it before and I'll never not say it, the atmosphere of RDR2 doesn't belong to the Red Dead franchise in my opinion.

 

GTA VI hopefully takes a lot of things that made the early Rockstar games so great, I almost hope they don't focus so much on the cinematics or presentation of the game and instead focus on what a game should be ... about the gameplay at first and then comes the rest.

 

What's your take on all of this?

insanely fake, the plane is cropped using photoshop's magic eraser tool (you can tell by the feathering and the bad cut on the outlines, also its the same cutout on both images). if you look the shadows are the same... at two different times of the day.
