Everybody praises Playstation exclusives but they're getting kinda stale and are overrated. Their open worlds are pretty much Ubisoft games and if it's not that they go ahead and make a game like TLOU2 which was 

 

Microsoft still needs to catch up though or not they probably have already passed them on paper at least. With all these purchases they've made recently their future is looking nice they just need to release those games.

I am kind of in an abusing relationship with PlayStation exclusives. On one hand I like them and when I do a playtrough of them, I am deeply invested in them. But once I am done with a playthrough, I end up not playing them for months and instead goof off in a 3rd party sandbox or shooter, until the day where I am suddenly like: "Hey, this game was cool, and I haven't played it in a while, maybe I should do another playthrough!"

That's what I've been saying since the beginning. Theory and reality can be very distinctive. We still need to see how Microsoft is going to perform after the acquisitions and until then PlayStation remains ahead of them.

 

Overrated or not (after all this is a matter of personal taste), PlayStation exclusives are the best in the market.

Playstation is taking the one size fits all with their exclusives. Not everybody is into Ratchet & Clank or Horizon zero dawn and it doesn't help that games take forever to release. Take Gran Turismo for example it's a great realistic racing franchise if you're into that but some people want something a bit more arcadey like the old Need For speeds or Midnight Club. They got lots of great franchises that are sitting dormant like Jak and Daxter, the getaway, Syphon filter, SOCOM but for some reason or another they don't wanna bring them back out.

 

Sony please Bring back the Getaway.

I don't think that tlou 2 is sh*t, in fact I love it but I agree, PS exclusives(including tlou 2) are really overrated

Agreed. Carrying thousands of rounds of ammo, dozens of grenades, and a whole ass RPG in one pocket is getting old.

PS exclusives are nice and all, but I personally don't care about most of them. I cared about Uncharted, but that is dead and buried and I liked Ghost of Tsushima.

 

Besides that, in my 8 years of owning a PS4 I don't think the store etc. has gotten a single update that made it better. It only got worse to the point where to me it's just annoying to use.

 

Take all that, add the noise that console makes and the size of that PS5 and you have my decision on what I am going to buy next: the Xbox Series X.

 

Now I just have to find that bloody thing somewhere
