How much do you suppose these voice actors get paid to just say a few lines of npc pedestrian dialogue?? A couple hundred bucks perhaps, give or take?

It will be set in the GTA universe and will release within the next two years.

Something like $478.50 for 1 hour, for up to 3 voices (that don't advance principal story) and don't have more than 300 scripted words, plus $75 compensation on game release.

We went to Mexico in RDR1 and everyone loved it, and we could interact with the npcs there, plus, Tijuana is one of the most dangerous cities in the world (to no one's surprise), so there's plenty of room for some crazy sh*t.

If we are dealing with the Cartel, I'm sure we would come across many English speakers. Plus, I'm not afraid of hearing foreign languages, are you?  sh*t, I might actually learn Spanish that way.

I'm latino and I speak spanish so I ain't afraid of hearing foreign languages don't play that card with me. Setting the entire game in a foreign country wouldn't work just like Tokyo wouldn't work.

We can have both, as you said previously, just like in RDR1, Mexico is way more interesting for a GTA game than Canada though, that's for sure. I'm gonna watch those videos in a bit.

It might be different for video games but I think minimum scale in Film & Television is around $200 per union rules
