LOL. I must admit I did not expect this kind of communication from Rockstar to their fans. It is unprecedent for this company. Well either way it doesn't change anything. Release late 2024 the earliest. Let's move on.

Seems like most of the announcement was about GTAO and Expanded and Enhanced with a small "Oh btw, we're balls deep in GTA6 too", at least it answers the question on whether or not Expanded and Enhanced is going to be delayed, seems like they had the perfect opportunity here and all they did was set some advertising/hype plans in motion.

They should fix their existing stuff before announcing more Rockstar-licensed shovelware. GTA Trilogy is still in a deplorable state (and a mobile port is still said to come in the first half of the year!!!), RDO is completely dead and GTA Online itself still has issues with DDoS-ing.

 

But then again they did it so their consumer fanbase forgets about what they did(n't) do.
